Drouin is a gars chez nous... Therefore he will do quite fine with the media and the fans

Word is that we will lose bonino.. That will free up some cap and at some point and if the offer was there we should move bandaid boy

I think he's replaceable. Granted I have enjoyed Bonino since the Spring of 2016, when he decided to be a difference maker. I feel more bad about losing Matt Cullen if he retires. 15 goals and 30 points, a good 200-foot game, and solid on the dot all from the 4th line... at that contract... that will be next to impossible to replace.

Homeboy (gross how Montreal is that way) or no homeboy, if he acts like he did in TB, Habs fans and the media will tear him apart. That being said, I don't see it happening. And I am a Drouin fan... so I want to see him thrive.

Do a google search on Brayden Schenn.

Two top articles on him had him shocked and not surprised when it came to him being traded. So which is it? lol

A lot of teams are ging to change today

Bones to the Preds... Sports really is about the money guess you can't blame them, it's their life

We got decimated... 5 guys gone ..

I know that feeling as a Hawks fan. That's just the way it goes in today's NHL. Players start chasing the money or are even willing to stay but the team has to trade good/great players because of the salary cap. Player movement is now just a way of life for any successful team that's constantly battling the cap.

Washington just lost a top guy for a 2nd and third. Looks like that window that was closing, could be closed. But there is still time for them to make a move or two.

And this happens to every team. You lose guys.

I am not a fan of the Jets getting Steve Mason. Put similar numbers to Connor Hellebuyck on a seemingly better team these past two seasons, but he's the answer? Yeah, it isn't the defence which is coached by Charlie Huddy and the goalie coaching of Wade Flatherty. Let's see... Huddy has been in this league for how long now as a defensive coach with a mediocre record, and a goalie coach who's failed with 3 guys who were given the reigns of starter. Like a friend once told me, one failure. Shame on the goalie... two, it gets iffy, and finally three, it's gotta be the coach and not the player. I just don't see how Mason is the guy. Also, we seem to like goalies with the name of Mason. Chris Mason was the first for those not-in-the-know, now-in-the-know.

I don't see how. I say we're still a Cup contender without those guys. We haven't lost anyone we'll solely miss and we have the depth and guys to break out to take over. Also we added some decent bodies and resigned the right guys. I still feel we'll be adding to the roster. Or using guys in house. No different then when Chicago replaced or lost bodies and still won Cups, because of who they had in-house. The Penguins have a very deep roster. And also not the only team to lose a few guys.. Washington, Chicago, and Nashville being prime examples. Cap league... to be expected. So I am not the least bit concerned.

P.S. I forgot to respond to this earlier.

My brother's friend has this piece of metal art made from the parts of the old Igloo of the Penguins arena. He is wondering what a value would be for this piece if he were sell it.

I have no idea, but I might be interested... granted I may not be able to do it this month. Have lots going on. Very cool. Try googling it... you may find something. I'll try and dig some info on it myself.

Wow, what an onslaught by the Hawks tonight. Great start to the season. PP is going to need some work but I'll never complain if they keep scoring 10 goals a game. Nice to have Saad back...with a hat trick to boot.
