Oh I do, when you look this good it's had not to stare at the mirror all day.



Getting back to topic now I like the Caps draw. Rangers in the 1st, then Habs in the 2nd.....good path to the eastern finals.

It's Canucks.

And that should be an interesting series. No idea who takes that one. Both teams are pretty good and evenly matched IMO.

I am excited for the Pens/NYI series.

STFU because I know the facts? You sit your best players and you don't try because it doesn't change the outcome in your playoff positioning.. You said they would lose confidence because they got schilacked, even though they sat their best guys out, which was a gimmie this game didn't mean much to them.... Oh I am sorry, was I supposed to agree with you?

Anyway, interested to see how Crosby and Iginla look together.

I say Caps in 5. They are clicking at the right time, and are still on a high. Lots of energy left. This isn't a 82 game season plus 4 rounds of best-of-seven series. I hate to say this, but I agree with you. This time it seems different. They never have looked this motivated going in for a long time.

I give a lot of credit to Oates. It started rough with no time to learn the new system but no the guys are just clicking an Ovie has the passion back in full gear. I can honestly say regardless the playoff outcome I love the direction the team is headed.

First Round Predictions

Pens vs. Isles (Pens in 5)

Habs vs. Sens (Habs in 7) - Pulling for Sens though.

Caps vs. NYR (Caps in 6) - Hopefully not another playoffs bust for Caps.

Bos vs. Leafs (Bos in 6) - There will be blood on the ice for this series. Cheering for the Leafs.


Hawks vs. Wild (Hawks in 5) - Can you say walkover? I'm being generous by giving the Wild one win. Wish Columbus had made it ahead of the Wild. At least they had heart down the stretch unlike the Wild.

Ducks vs. Wings (Ducks in 7) - The old man Wings still have something left.

Van vs. Sharks (Van in 6)

Blues vs. Kings (Kings in 7) - "Blood on the ice" part II.

Goodness grief, Espn1500 Twin Cities radio just announced that Wild goalie Niklas Backstrom got hurt in pre-game warm-ups and is out for game 1. Backup Josh Harding has played sparingly this year due to multiple sclerosis.

Also Jason Pominville is out due to a concussion.

Eh. Going into the playoffs with a 7-2 loss isn't a good thing. Regardless of excuses. Aside from their 94' Stanley cup run the franchise couldn't get a decent logo let alone win a championship.
