Holy crap the Sens got Erik Karlsson back! He played 27 minutes tonight.

I thought he was done for the season after that torn Achilles tendon .

Of course. The best doctors will do that. Also doesn't hurt he has the best physiotherapists, trainers, etc. money can buy. Or the fact he's also young and in shape. So yeah, that also plays a factor.

Ottawa needs him for a good run in the playoffs. He runs that team's offence. The way he controls and breaks out plays is something else. As much as I like Green, he's a product of systems and great talent surrounding him. Karlsson is a product of high intelligence and an amazing skillset. He's the best offensive defensemen I seen in a while.

The Wild were just booed off the ice by the home crowd being down 3-0 to the Oilers after the 1st period. The Wild need 2 points to clinch a playoff spot, if they want to do it tonight.

You're a goof if you don't get it... You see, there was no NHL team in my city, I had to root for someone. But yeah, I can easily drop them off like a hat. Mmmhmmm...

And the Wild are in. They had to win that game at Colorado because 20 minutes earlier Columbus had won their game.

I bet Wild owner Craig Leipold was about to **** twinkies after sinking nearly $200 million on Parise and Suter...lol

The Wild should be first round fodder for the Blackhawks. Though I cheer for any team that plays Chicago, my #1 most hated team.

I am so glad I have Mike Green and I kept him all those years in my keeper league.

18 points in his last 15!
2nd best goal scorer in April.
8 PIMs in his last 5 games. *My league counts PIMs so every little bit counts!
9 SOG in his last game.
2 PPG last game.
He's baaacccckkkk.

LOL Wrong! You do know the Canucks rested many of their top guys? That right there shows they didn't care about the outcome. That 48th game was a meaningless game. They weren't going to move up or down a seed. They are locked in their position.

Henrik Sedin played a 22 second shift to maintain his iron man streak of 629 games, otherwise he wouldn't even have suited up. Seriously. Edmonton had an easy game. Confidence will still be intact for Vancouver.

So which of the top teams gets kicked out in the first round, and before people like bumblebutts are quick to come up with a predictable answer, I want them to think long and hard. Mind you, I can see the Sens giving my Penguins a difficult time. Unless of course they win tonight's game with Boston, then it's the Islanders they face. I also like that team. Damn...

Sharks in 6 for the upset!
Kings in 7


Wild in 5 for the upset! (we were unbeaten vs. them in the regular season)
Islanders in 7 (upset)
Caps in 7
Bruins in 4

I know in hockey, more upsets happen than in the NBA so we'll see...
