Re: 2013 NHL Season

I really hope not, besides being a rangers fan, the games have been too close- a sweep wouldn't be accurate to the series.

They have been close except for game 2, not near Caps/Rangers round 1 close but yeah close. I just want to see the sweep cause....well.....I just don't like the Rangers, that's mostly due to them having a pos for a head coach though.

When and if the Rangers get bounced I wonder if they'll put a APM out for Nash.....dudes been MIA since the playoffs began!

I think it would be.

The series has been Henrik vs. Boston. While the team in front of him has had varying levels of quality, this has been the case for the past couple of years. What should be scary for NYR fans is that the window for Henrik to carry the team to this extent is closing fast.

I'm going to assume if NY loses game 4, it won't be another 5-2 embarrassment. So if they go out on another close game, that's completely indicative.

It's astonishing how little NY has shown up. That $36 million amnesty buyout for Richards is approaching fast.

Re: 2013 NHL Season

I've made it clear I have no love lost for NYR. And while I do think he is a fantastic goalie, NBC's constant sucking up to Henrik has truly annoyed me.

But at the same time, I'm a goalie myself, so I can understand Henrik's frustration. I have 1/10th the skill and play on a team with 1/1,000,000 the spotlight, but the emotions are the same. His face after the GWG last night, when he was just sitting there looking dazed and depressed, was heartbreaking.

My view may be skewed, but the Bruins have dominated this series despite the scores of games 1 & 3. Coming off the Toronto series the Rangers have been quite a change to see. They're slow and don't press offensively at all.

If this one wraps tomorrow night does Tortorella survive?

Re: 2013 NHL Season

Ain't that the truth. He's an amazing goalie. I just hate seeing good goaltending on mediocre teams. Cough cough Vancouver. Yes I said it, I still think Luongo is a great goalie.

When excluding the playoffs this is correct. :lol
