Re: 2013 NHL Season

Bruins are very fortunate to be going to OT. If not for Rask this one would've been 4-1.

Hes been playing great, but again the Pens arent burying the chances and the PP is invisible

Seguin in OT is my pick 2-1 Boston

At least the Pens PP gets shots. The 2 PPs the Bruins had in the 3rd were pitiful. They couldn't even get it past the blue line on the second.:monkey4

I'll go with Neal.

Re: 2013 NHL Season

Since were picking I'll go with Neal scoring and the Pens getting back in the series.

Re: 2013 NHL Season

I love watching OT playoff hockey when don't have a dog in the fight.

Re: 2013 NHL Season

I don't care, you watch every Pens game in these playoffs as I have and you'll see he's taken so many stupid penalties. Those are the penalties that cost you a series. You can't take penalties like that in overtime when you're down two games. I don't care if he's tired... I see it happen so often. He has been the best forward in these playoffs for the Pens... great, but he also hurts us when he takes these penalties in bad moments. If we're up 3 goals... it's less detrimental... but it's crazy detrimental when you're 0-2 in this series and it's 1-1 in OT of Game 3. We lose this game, we lose this series.

Again, try being a Pens fan and watch all the games. It's frustrating.

Re: 2013 NHL Season

And it's called reacting to the moment. Of course I am going to blow a gasket. I am a passionate hockey fan, through and through.

I love No. 71 and glad he's ours, but he can play lazy at times and take a ton of stupid penalties. Many Penguins fan complain about this, as would you if he was on your team. I don't care how good you are. Part of being a great hockey player is also not costing your team with costly penalties in moments that could cost your team dearly. Again, this was a on-the-moment reaction what I posted and it's not the first time Malkin has done this. Most of his penalties in these playoffs which is closing in on 30, have not been good penalties. And yes, there are good penalties.

Yep, not to mention he's a defensive liability

All things being equal think he stays with the Pens? I say he bolts to be the top star somewhere else regardless of top dollars.

Re: 2013 NHL Season

:)

I still think your boys win this game and the series, but yeah that delay of game penalty wasn't good.

Rask has been phenomenal.

As for Malkin, it was a stupid penalty and if it was just the one I would not be as angry, but as Deeznutz, another Penguin fan on here would attest, it is an ongoing thing. Thus the frustration.
