Jep, bought it yesterday... SO FUNNY :lol really, those ''rabbids'' are insane!

I saw it, half of that seems staged or photo shopped. Some looks real, but here's my opinion. YOU NEVER NEED TO WHIP THAT WII CONTROLLER TO GET A DESIRED EFFECT!!! Those people probably just wanted to see how much it could take and played harder than they needed to. If you're playing the damn thing the way you're supposed to than that WILL NOT HAPPEN! No need to EVER whip even in bowling and baseball, just a little wrist snap and you'll get a 95 mph fast ball or strike. You don't need to put your whole body into it, and if you do and break your TV you deserve it morons.

Some friends and I played the Wii last night.

4-player tennis is the best thing ever.

VERY intense!!!

Can anyone recommend other fun 4-player games?

Super Monkey Ball has 50 mini-games. Some a duds, but there are a lot that are great fun. Red light, green light, is the most awesome game (seriously).

And yes, tennis is by far the best multiplayer game for Wii Sports.

Anyone know if you can play Rogue Squadron II and III on the Wii?

They are GC games and I know I will need to get the classic controller.

Wii plays ALL GC games, so I assume it plays those also you DON'T need the classic controller, all games that can use the classic can also use the GC controller. I have a Wave Bird and just use that, and I find it better than the classic because the classic still needs to be plugged into the Wii-mote which I find annoying.

In fact you CAN'T use the classic controller to play GameCube games. You'll need a GC Controller and a GC Memory Card.

SO it seems a GC controller is a better investment overall. Since I have one I save a $20 to go towards toys.

Is it possible to close the GC controller port lid with a wavebird receiver plugged in? How 'bout just the GC memory cards?

Post pics and I'll be your best friend for life. :chew

Does this anwser your question, ''best friend''? ;)

I watched those Japanese videos on Youtube of Warioware: Smooth Moves and that game looks really FUN! I can't wait to get it when it comes out. It looks pretty insane and crazy to play with all the different positions you have to hold the remote.

Thanks for the pics, Anarion! :chew

Looks like I'm going to have to find a place to stow my GC stuff when I'm not using them.

Got my Wii last Sunday and just got to play it for a few hours. It's absolutely amazing! Anyone considering buy one deffiantely needs to do so. I picked up Zelda, Red Steel, Need for Speed, and Madden. I've only got to play wii sports and Zelda so far, I haven't even opened the others yet. Anyone know if the others I got are any good?

My friends and I have a lot of fun with Madden for the Wii. I don't know about the other two though. After playing Mario Kart and its sequels, there is just no other racing game that I can get into. For me now, it's all about the lightnings, ghosts that steal items, and blue shells that detonate whoever is in first place!:lol
I heard Red Steel was great too, so I may have to rent that sometime.

Hooray!
I didnt think Id be able to get the Wii but my mummy bought it for me. Aww. Anyway I was having a go at Wii Sports and I pulled my arm back to make a shot in Bowling and the top of the controller hit my wall and I now have a slight chip in the Wiimote. Not that I care, its jut that it seems the controller doesnt have a very strong "outer coating" as it were. Now, if it had flown out my hands and hit my $2000 TV I would not be best pleased. :lol
Either way its sooooooooo much fun. Really like Zelda too, but its taking a while for me to really warm to it.

I'm surprised by how many people fling their Wiimote during Bowling. Mine has never come near to leaving my hands no matter what. But seriously, to get the speed and force, you just have to flick your wrist, like all things in life, it's all in the wrist.

Anyway, I just got Monkey Ball WHOA!!! I nearly had a seizure it's so intense!!!
