I had no idea you could motion to throw the boomerang:confused:

I always just hit the Z button when I had it designated. I gotta go try that.

That's me, no need to risk sending the controller airborne.

I did receive my replacement wrist straps this week. For some reason the filled the request twice.

Mine have shipped but I haven't gotten them yet. I've never had an issue but it's better to be safe than sorry.

Xmass eve we were at a friends and played the Wii, I honestly don't know how you guys do it. All I played was one 10 frame game of bowling one round of home run derby, and one of the practice bowling where they add a row of pins each time and I was sore as hell for the next 2 days. All that impact on your joints is very hard on the body.

We had a boxing tournament at my bro's house on Christmas day and I beat everyone and 3 days later I am still sore from my shoulders to my arms to my pecs to my back muscles. :lol

Hey! I also got my order twice. I called my mom to ask if she received them( I sent them to my home address since I'm at my dorm), and she said that there were two packages. She opened both up and each contained 4 wrist straps.

A Target near me got 21 today and my friend was finally able to get one for his son. But they still sold out in under an hour.

My 7 year old brother got too excited playing and launched the Wiimote and snapped the wrist strap. Luckily nothing broke and Nintendo is sending me my new ones, he's also banned for life from playing Wii!

It's way to high impact to be healthy. Without a ball or bat in your hand to help with the proper follow through or a object to absorb the punch your stuck stopping the motion of your body yourself, which is very hard on the body.

Boxing is more like shadow boxing, which every boxer does regularly.

Baseball is like taking warm up swings, which every ball player does.

Bowling is the same motion without the strain of a 15 lb ball. I know a lot of women who enjoy bowling but are always complaining because the ball is too heavy.

Tennis is the same motion as you would make on a court.

And golf is just taking practice swings as well.

I will admit that many won't have proper mechanics when swinging a club, bat, or racquette which can lead to being sore. But hitting an object only adds more impact which adds a risk of injury.

We are not boxers........

They take warm up swings with a bat or some other object

It's completely different then bowling with a ball, the ball takes all the momentum of your arm. I have done both and the only similarity is the motion of the arm.

These are the same as baseball, without a ball to take the impact of your swing your stuck stopping a full strength swing with your body.

Like i said it's the unnatural motion of stopping your movement that causes problems

I doubt any of us are, put swinging at air is less impact than hitting something where you have impact

They take warm up swings with a bat or some other object

And you are swinging with a Wii-mote

Right, it's the same motion without the stress that a heavy ball puts on your arm and wrist. Hence, less impact.

Do you stop swinging a bat or tennis raquette immediately after contact with a ball? Nor should you with the controller.

The whole concept of Wii Sports is to do everything naturally. Why would you stop or impede any movement while playing Wii Sports? You're arguing for my point

Can I take random steroid breaks like they do in professional sports...?

It's been six weeks since launch and I have yet to see one on a store shelf, and I have been looking almost daily. Of course, I can't really afford one right now anyway, but I keep looking.

I understand that what is SUPPOSED to happen...........
But obviously I am retarded because I can't play baseball or bowl or golf naturally without the actually equipment to do it with. Right or wrong my body doesnt act the same. Maybe I missed the warning label "YOU ARE TO ****ING OLD FOR THIS GAME SYSTEM CONTINUE SHOPPING!"
