Controller aside, it's identical except for the fact that the Gamecube version is a mirrored version of the Wii game - if you tske a left path in the Wii version you'd be heading right in the GC one... Quirky!

Okay cool. Because I got tired of waiting for the Wii to come in and just picked Twilight Princess up on Gamecube. can't wait to get home to play it.

just got back from target and yet again a bunch of ps3's...5 to be exact, but no wii's. :(

i did get a tansformers cyberton primus for $15(normally $50.00) on clearance. he's a big mo-fo...maybe use it for a christmas present....or keep it for myself.

I got Trauma Center for Christmas and I love it. It makes good use out of the nunchuck and wii mote. The game itself is like mini puzzles because you have to use the right tool for the job at hand. On the first few operations they tell you what you need to do and then they turn you lose and you have to remember the correct procedure to get the job done.

Sounds like a video game version of the board game "operation"....

Yeah, lately PS3's are everywhere I look.

Wario Ware Smooth Moves, what's up Wiitards? Anyone else rocking this , it's awesome fun! DO THE ELEPHANT!

I got SMOOTH MOVES and it's very addictive!I love the mini-games and using the Wii-Mote but sometimes the response isn't so accurate.

The "Deep Thoughts" (a la SNL) intro to the different positions are hilarious.

There are Wario Wares and there are Wario Wares, this is the latter. I love every single one of them, but this is just a ''twist'' more than the last one.. (you got 'm right? last one was named ''Twisted''.... :doh )

I only find a few mini games lag wth the Wiimote, but it's pretty tight. I like it a lot, lots of good fun with it!

+1 for WarioWare!

My wife and I have been playing almost every night since it came out. It gets really crazy on weekends when we get a good sized group of people playing.

Up to 12 players! :maul

I was a bit disappointed that multiplayer had to be "unlocked" but it's a great game, nonetheless. :rock

Played the Wii for the first time at a mates place! I cant believe how much I got into Tennis! I love this console!

Still have not played it still want it.They better start showing up in stores on a regular basis soon.

Hopefully they will. People are still calling in every day asking about these, the Target electronics guy told me today. I learned that they got a shipment in this past Sunday and sold out within 10 minutes of store opening. Crazy!
There were a bunch of PS3's there though.

So the PS3 hits Europe on the 23rd of March. And only £425 (about $865)! What a bargain! I'll take 2, along with a dozen of your mediocre launch titles!

I'm a happy little Sony camper... :D

The Wiis do seem to be showing up on a fairly consistent basis. I was able to pick one up this past Sunday at a Best Buy. Since they had in their ad they would have a minimum of 20 per store, figured it would be a good bet.

They store opened at 10, and I got there at 9:15. I was #9 in line. The store apparently got 50 in. Though they did sell out, it wasn't for a bit after they had opened.

I heard that the Target down the way got 110 in, and they did sell out as well.

A buddy of mine was able to get off of Amazon the other day too.

May want to check out local Gamestops/EB Games. Quite a few got shipments in yesterday. They are also doing a special trade in with a Gamecube. For this week they are giving $50 credit towards a Wii. I happened to be in there yesterday to trade in a GBA SP for a Onyx DSlite (they were giving a $50 credit on GBA SPs for DSlites as well  )

Can also try iTrackr to see what comes in localy. Will cost $2 to get notifications (email/sms) for 30 days, but maybe worth it. https://www.itrackr.com. There is also https://www.xpbargains.com/wii_locator.php to check online stores.

:D

Thanks for that whole Zelda conversation guys - totally awesome (I have no idea what you were talking about, but it was great :lol)

I have an XBox 360...is the Wii better than the XBox. By judging from fan reaction, I would have to give this a resounding yes. Where I work, the "experts, ie kids" are all about the Wii. :lol :lol

Cheers,

Brad
