I'm having the opposite problem

Here's my buy list through 2007:

- Super Mario Galaxy
- Super Smash Bros. Brawl
- Guitar Hero 3
- Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games
- Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicals
- Manhunt 2
- Godzilla Unleashed
- NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams
- Dance Dance Revolution: Hottest Party

There are probably some I missed, but that's what I could come up with off the top of my head. Admittedly, a couple of those are cross-platform, but that's my list.

The only thing I'm not liking about the Wii is the lack of online play and content. I'm sure I'll eventually get a second console, but I'm torn between the 360's solid online setup, and the PS3's out-of-the-box BluRay playback capabilities.

I'm seriously considering this console (and I haven't owned a game console since Atari 2600).

So if I were to get a Wii which games are the absolutely MUST have to best use the features of the system and are the most fun?

Mario Party 8 is a good "fun" game. My wife has friends come over Wed. nights and we all play and have a good time with that. Monkey Ball is another one that is most people like, but frustrates the living hell outta me. I personally think Marvel Ultimate Alliance was a GREAT game as well. My five year old and I played it religiously until we beat it. It is a fun system and a boatload of awesome games seem's to be coming out in the next couple of months. I would suggest getting one!

Download the Japanese version of Mario 2 and you might change your mind. That has to be the most unfair game I've ever played in my life!

But that won't stop me from playing through.

Anyone know if they will be selling extra guitars for guitar hero? My nephews want the game but would need a second guitar to make sure that there aren't major fights over the guitar i want to get each there own guitar. I can't seem to find the guitar separate only with the game.

I'm pretty sure there is (or will be) since they've got them already for GHII, but if there is then it might be hard to get, GHIII is selling pretty well and will probably go into shortage.

I read somewhere that Toys R Us will have a Buy 2, Get 1 Free deal starting on Nov. 18th on Wii games. Definitely worth it if it's true!
