oh I'm sure I'll be working my way back through previous Zelda's once I've finished this one

I can't beleive ****og is censored... :lol Do you prefer oralog instead? Or perhaps va... eh, nevermind.

Can't wait for Metroid next week!

Ok got my Wii up and running. Is there a way to play games online like 360? All I have is Wii Sports and Tiger Woods so far.

Does any else have problems with their Wiimotes cursor jumping around? I have been playing Metroid and love it! Every once and a while the cursor will go crazy. I have tried batteries and messing around with the sensitivity and even another controller. I even went to Nintendos site and trouble shooted. I just can't seem to find the source of the problem.

when I first got mine and was setting it up/playing it for the first few times I had that problem. There were a few causes though.

1) We have a video/audio sender that sends the cable TV from downstairs to the upstairs bedroom, so we can watch/change channels from the bedroom. This was interfering with it, and making the sound from the remote break up..... when we play the Wii, we switch this box off, and everything cleared up

2) we have a large bay window (3 windows) behind the telly, and the light coming in through the venetian blinds makes the cursor jump around sometimes, so when we play the Wii, we close the blinds a bit

3) This one only affects me if I'm sitting down when playing. Right in front of the couch is a coffee table with a glass top. This is halfway between me and the telly/Wii sensor bar.... the reflections off the glass cause the same jumping problem if the remote is pointing near it. once the blinds are closed over this usually goes away. Also it's fine if I'm standing up (wii sports)

once I figured that out.... I have no problems with it now :D

mfoga - There are only two online games right now, Pokemon Battle Revolution (not so good), and Super Mario Strikers Charged (great!). Nintendo is really crappy when it comes to online options. If online is your thing, you'll be a lot happier with 360. There's a lot to love about the Wii, unfortunately Nintendo decided to cripple it's online capabilities.

BadMoon - I've found sunlight and ceiling fan lights mess up my Wiimote. I've heard candlelight will disrupt the signal as well.

Got Zelda yesterday. Love it but it takes some time to adjust. I played through a lilttle but I think Im going to start over as I got the hang of the game now. Its just the fishing that takes forever.

Cool thanks for the tip! I wonder if our new Wi Fi set up could be interfering with the signal?

I'm waiting for...

SUPER SMASH BROS. BRAWL!!!!

But they have yet to reveal my homie in the game...

Has anyone got the hi-def cable for this? I was wondering if it really makes a difference?

mfoga - It's not Hi-Def, it's 480p component, which is a pretty significant upgrade from the standard 480i composite, but still not even close to 720/1080i/p hi-def. I got the component cables, and can say I would never go back. Games like Sonic and Resident Evil are gorgeous in widescreen 480p.

Badmoon - nintendo uses bluetooth in the remotes, so it should play nice with your wifi, so long as you're using one of the 802.11 standards.

I'm going out to pick up Metroid today, I've been waiting for this for a long time :chew

Man Wii is workout. I have been playing Tiger Woods. I am unsure about the game its seems to be a inconistant. I dont get how a club that will go 160 yrd will only go 100 on a 90% swing. But at 103% it will go 180. I swear this game is harder then real golf.

Definite get the upgraded cables, I bought generic ones off eBay for like $7 shipped and it makes a huge difference in picture quality. Still a bummer its not a higher resolution, but you will notice a big improvement.

I just bought one of the Nintendo WiFi USB Connectors to see if that will work for online options. Sucks there aren't many games available... but hopefully that will improve over time?

I'm so used to the XBox version that I stayed with it this year (and am rocking the ***** out of it). Be sure to check wind direction and elevation before each shot as they play a serious role in distance (just in case you aren't)

Since I beat Bioshock for a second time it's time to get into Metroid tomorrow. Can't wait!!!

Yeah I do check that and the lie too. Its just things seem to have a much greater effect then they should IMO. I have golfed for over 25 years and its taking some serious getting use to as far the % of power and what it will do to the distance.

im actually getting addicted to the big brain academy. they were all out of metroid at blockbuster so the GF talked me into renting this one. not a bad game at all. its frustrating sometimes because it makes me feel really dumb.

WiFi Connector no workie... guess I'll have to get a real wireless connection in my home. I think my Wii is too far away from the signal source?!?
