You mistakenly take that to mean they're all the same person. The sentence that follows disproves your own belief. Understanding the "trinity" is easy if you look at it and take it at face value. Man tends to deify what they cannot understand. Hence why children and adults pray to Jesus, which is also flawed.

I should of said that I do understand the Trinity of God...but its not easy to understand for those who don't believe in the Trinity at all, like yourself

I believe the trinity of God is ONE person (deity)...I have said that MANY times in my posts

Quote me a scripture that specifically states: "God the father, God the son, and God the holy spirit." You won't because it's flawed, and a sin as it's in direct conflict of the commandments given to man by God.

I don't have time to example everything out scripturally, but see this website (tons of scripture)

https://www.gotquestions.org/Trinity-Bible.html

this sums it up----

The Father is God, the Son is God, and the Holy Spirit is God—but there is only one God. That is the biblical doctrine of the Trinity.

The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are not parts of God; each of them is God

The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are not forms of God, each of them is God

ALL 3 are the Trinity of God...they are the same person/deity (which I have already said)

So, in otherwords, you can't. It's simple. You can't because they aren't. Which is why it doesn't state that in the scriptures. There is only one God. Not 3 entities acting as one god. There is God, there is Jesus and there is the Holy Spirit. Together they make up a holy trinity, but only God is God.

Nam,

Christ Himself said "I and my Father are ONE." Do u call Christ a liar and the Word of God false?

In the beginning was God and the Word was with God and the Word WAS God. And the Word became flesh ( Christ )

Not gonna argue back and forth, but if u have an understanding It's not hard to get. You either believe Christ is telling the truth or u think he's a liar. Same with the bible....u either think its truth or lies.

Oh I can...but oviously it doesn't matter if I post Scripture because you are not paying much to it anyway,so what's the point? :dunno

Again, you deny the Trinity of God,so I can't reach you any further....I believe Jesus was God in Flesh, also then The Father in Heaven, and the Holy Spirit which works on man's Heart...they are the Same as ONE acting God

John 10:30 "I and my Father are one." (Scripturally affirmed)

I do have an understanding, and the scriptures disagree with yours:

In that day you will no longer ask me anything. I tell you the truth, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete. Though I have been speaking figuratively, a time is coming when I will no longer use this kind of language but will tell you plainly about my Father. In that day you will ask in my name. I am not saying that I will ask the Father on your behalf. No, the Father himself loves you because you have loved me and have believed that I came from God—(John 16:23-27)

If God and Jesus are "one," why bother mentioning "my father?" Why would Christ ask "Father, why has't thou forsaken me?" on the cross? These are serious issues under your misinterpretation. But taken at face value, make sense given the two are two different entities. Jesus is not God. :nono

Nam, I could explain it all but no point. I'm tired of endless debate with non believers. You claim understanding, but no, you have none. you call Christ a liar. End of discussion for me.

I gave up endless, circular debate with non believers just a bit ago. It accomplished nothing.

:lol This is the a-typical response from close-minded "Christians" when challenged with scripture. :clap

Glad I'm not part of this debate! lol

IT's not that I don't believe there is maybe some higher force that started it all, or created us or whatever. But since I DON'T KNOW, I leave it at that. A mystery.

Bible is most likely stories passed down through the generations as ways of trying to explain things, not understood.
People needed something to believe in. Something to have faith in.
If that's what they need to find meaning in life and to carry on, so be it.

But I'll never let some dude preach to me what he says is "the truth", because of some book or collection of stories from human kinds ancient past, because it's in the book...so must be true, and God said so lol

Anyone that wants to have faith or something to believe in, go ahead. I have no problem if that's what you need.
But I really do hate the corruption of organized religion for sure.

Ok continue.....:wave

Hardly Nam. But go ahead and claim victory. I really don't care. I told u I stopped debating a bit ago and I'm not going to sit here on my phone and type novel responses in a debate that will convince u of nothing. What u believe is between u and God....not you and me.

It's even better when you have people claiming stuff their own doctrine doesn't even reinforce. :lol

sweet! a debate on Christianity.
I have a question ...
If Sin exists on earth to allow us to have free will, does that mean we're robots in heaven due to the absence of sin? .... :monkey1
