So that more comprehensive tax calculator still has me paying less taxes with Obama even with capital gains figured in.

However I'm not a big fan of tax "credits" where people get a check from the government if they qualify for a bunch of credits even if their tax liability is zero. This combined with my preference for McCain's energy plan make me lean towards McCain.

But then there's Palin, which completely negates everything positive about McCain for me.

No ulcers for me. I just feel bad for the guys here who are going to get stuck with this guy for 4 years should he win. I simply believe actions speak louder than words, and he can say whatever he wants, but it will be a completely different story should he be elected, and his record speaks loud and clear on this issue....and it's there for anyone who actually cares enough to look it up.

At my current income level, Obama has me paying an additional $7000 the first year then up to $13,000 more by the end of the calculations versus the McCain tax plan. That to me is just absurd when I am already paying out over 50% of my income with the current tax system (including SS). It just makes me want to work less and just cut jobs. It won't be worth it to work anymore.....depressing.....

I think they should phase out the Bush tax cuts and leave it there. All I know is life was pretty good for more people in the '90s and we had a balanced budget. Be nice to have that back, and no way is it happening without raising taxes somewhere after this administration's drunken spending.

Wow!!! The reason it's not like it used to be is the war on terror!! Glad someone stepped in and is doing something about THE PROBLEM!!! While our last prez. was not taking care of biz like he should have, getting his ^^^^ sucked and humping a whore, Who FAILED to be a leader!! Sometimes in life you gotta be mean and kick ass like Bush has, eight years of ignorance can't be delt with in Bush's time. It's easy to make mistakes, but so much harder to fix them!! IMO, Bush is doing his best, he's not perfect, nobody is!! Doubt either party is ready for the job to come, but whatever the out come is, it's probably not going to get better!!!

I'm nothing, in this world!! NOT, smart, intelligent, or anything for that!! But i do see it for what it is!!
