Politicians can inspire people. No need to put a crowd cap on them just because of their occupation. Look at JFK, a politician who did look like a savior to a lot of people. And God knows they politicians, faulted as they may be, do good work. So I see no problem with the "adoration" or a politician.

Palin is a rockstar herself is she not? At least that's what the McCain people keep saying...but I'm sure no one will say they are blindly "adoring" her...
