An Evil Collector?
The difference is the million others dont have supporters and media hailing them as our national savior.
That won't last. One year in and even the dems are gonna wonder "what the ^^^^ was I thinking?"

So I'm guessing all those supporters in favor of a socialist, including those here, are getting a head start on solving the problem by voluntarily giving money to the poor? Or are preparing to cancel all their SSC preorders to help fund this redistribution of wealth he has in mind

I wouldn't be surprised. It's not one-sided though. It's called buyer's remorse, and we saw it with Bush, and we're seeing it with Palin.
Biden is being almost prophetic and its scary. Acknowledging that there will be some test...?
I hope I'm wrong, but I see that test being Israel and I hope we don't leave them on their own.
Sorry but Palin's the only breath of fresh air in this entire campaign [other than Biden and his comedy routine], and from the sounds of things the only one of the four who isn't willing to bankrupt the country.
As I stated before, you guys that think this is in the bag must just be paying attention to the most liberal polls out there. Latest AP polls have the race virtually tied. Carbo-fation being from Pa, as well as I am must really like hearing Gov. Rendell being worried that it is almost tied up here as well, with Obamas own poll numbers showing him being up by 2%. John McCain is far from out of this election.I was commenting on her falling approval ratings and poll numbers. She may well be a breath of fresh air, but her post-convention bump is gone and her approval ratings, even in Alaska, have dropped siginificantly over the past few weeks. This has nothing to do with her policies, but public perception. Buyer's remorse is definitely happening. Palin went from new and dynamic rockstar to a politician who is just as polarizing as Hillary Clinton.

You might want to start ignoring what you're hearing from the left wing media. Everywhere she goes, she is absolutely packing them in....it's standing room only. If Mccain could get half as many people show up for his speeches he'd be ecstatic. And I do find it refreshing having someone in the race who is an average, middle-class American. She's certainly more refreshing than the other three multi-millionaire eliteist clowns.
And last I checked Joe Biden was not a millionaire, let alone multi-millionaire.
Sen.Joe Biden(D-Del.)
Net worth: $100,000-$150,000
Details: Biden has spent virtually his whole life in public service and does not have much else aside from investments in a small array of mutual funds and cash accounts. He received a $112,000 advance from Random House for a book in 2005.
Biden ranks as the poorest member of the U.S. Senate. The Center for Responsive Politics estimates his net worth is at most $277,000 (see Related Links for report). A more recent release of tax returns by Biden indicates a yearly income of $248,754 (see Related Links).
If I remember correctly, Obama made 4.2 million just last year alone, with much of that coming from book sales. He has a 1.6 million dollar home.
McCain is worth somewhere between $25-38 million, factoring in a million dollar home, real estate holdings and his wife's family beer company fortune.
Palin's net worth is over $1 million.
Biden is a different story:
"Change" always packs in spaces and generates coverage and talk. Look at all those supposed anti-war marches and protests.
The "current" policies and what not never draw crowds. This isn't surprising. There simply isn't a need to assemble over issues when their already the way you want them to be.
However, when it comes down to voting and decision making, the people interested in holding the status quo DO show up.
While the crowds gathering for Obama seem to be 10-1 to those for McCain, I don't necessarily think it means he's going to win and certainly not in a landslide.
This could very well be true, but isn't McCain runing as a change agent himself? He has said it many times. And if Palin (like McCain) supposedly represents the staus quo, why is she drawing large crowds as well?
