I doubt you will have to replace the whole statue. I've had subpar headsculpts before and SS just sent me a new one instead of a whole new statue.

Thanks, the person on the phone said that the returns department will make the determination. She could not/would not verify what they would ask of me. She was very pleasant and jsut asked me to send the photo and she would take care of the rest. She told me to be on the look out for another email from them with instructions of what to do or what they were going to do.

I am very pleased with the statue..... and as far as the "leaning: issue. I think it is all perspective of the lens of the camera. if you ahve the Guinness head and you snap a photo of the statue with him looking straight on into the eyes, he does look as if he is leaning. But if you snap the photo straight on (in line with the belt buckle looking straight at you) the statue is perfect for photos.

I am displaying him with the belt buckle pointing straight out and it does not look distracting at all.

That being said, he sure does take up a lot of space....

pff.. I have now to wait about almost a week (thats what they said) just to hear back from the return department whats next.. not even sure yet when they send me a new one... that sucks a lot...

Yeah, I am in the same boat. I was told 5 to 7 business days to get a response to my replacement request. I guess Sideshow Returns is swamped. :(

yeah.. it sucks having this box right there and you can not do anything with it.. it will take prob. up to another 2+ weeks before we have him on our shelf..

Just gives you more time to work on a side project you were assigned/volunteered for! j/k :peace

thats ok.. I gonna make you then my favorite "pain the butt" next to my wife ! :) :p

Thanks again myc. Can't wait to see! :D

And about returns, they just quote the longest it may take. I put in a request and it was handled that day, with a resolution and shipping two days later.

And on display space, yeah! Look at Freddy. Even at 1/4, he's like, "Can you please move this huge cape out of my way!"

Yeah, with that billowing cape and his right arm going the opposite way, he is a challenge to display right. Nevertheless, it can be done; and if any statue ever deserved take up a little extra room, it's this guy.

I'm struggling to find a place to put this. Plus the fett will be two feet tall with the gun, so I don't have any shelves. Anyone have any ideas?

I got permission from the boss to display two of them downstairs. Hoping those two will be Kenobi & Vader (depends on Vader's paint app), being that I'm only selecting a few of these, I'll have room for Fett. Two will be going on a desk while Fett will fit in with other Fetts I have in my collection.

Is that Mouse Guard in back?

Yes gentlemen. That is a page from issue 4 of Fall, the original series that I won at one of the CBLDF auctions at SDCC. It also has the overlay for the rain on a vellum sort of paper which I had the framer seal into a pocket on the back.

I'll never forget, Chuck Rowzanski, the Mile High owner. He tends to come by and help with the auction as that's a side profession of his. I kind of made a face because he was goading my competition into raising the bid. He said, "Don't make that face, you know what you've got here!"
