Finally got around to taking some pics of mine.

Nice pics but I don't think there are any green plants on Tatooine. :lol

I personally think that the only reason some images make it seem like the lean isn't so bad is because of the angle the owner photographed it from. I think they all have the same lean, it's just some owners don't see it or refuse to take a picture of that particular angle. I have a She-Hulk PF, and she is leaning pretty bad. I never noticed it until I saw another one in person. I didn't notice it because of the angle I have her positioned in in my case.

The comparison picture aeseven7 posted is a great example of what I am talking about. The left pic is the kind of picture I see more often from owners of the statue, and it doesn't look that bad. While the one on the right reveals the production piece's true leaning nature. Most people aren't taking that picture.

I get it if people can live with the lean. For me, I would have returned She-Hulk had I noticed it on time. The same can be said for Obi-Wan.

So you're saying that we that have the item and say that the lean is on purpose and doesn't look wrong are just fooling ourselves? Perhaps it's the photos that depict an awkwardness that are misleading? You immediately assume that it's the pictures that DON'T depict awkwardness that are misleading?

I don't care about all the complaints to be honest. I understand were most collector's are coming from but this is a friendly place to voice ones opinion. To get all worked up over another's opinion is pointless and unproductive. It would be wise to not be swayed by the opinion of another. I'll make my own opinion when I get this in hand, hopefully soon. Oh this isn't directed at any one person.

Thanks for all the pics guys this thing is looking fabulous.

It's great to voice an opinion but it's also important to keep things in perspective and not let the loud and frequent naysayers scare you away from something because of a nitpicking concern.

That's exactly what I was trying to say. It just wasn't as eloquent as you stated. :lol

I have this displayed in my Besta now. It is so beautiful (I am one that only uses the word grail for 1 piece, your favorite i.e. Punisher Comiquette). It really stands out among other beautiful statues i.e. Captain America PF, Dutch PF, Croft PF, Spider-man comiquette, Tychus, Diablo 3. The detail is simply unreal. I don't think this could top Punisher, most likely because the Punisher is my favorite superhero, but in terms of beauty they are damn close.

This is a very special statue.

I agree with all of your statements I was trying to figure out what Fremen did to get it out. Not that women are inherently all weaker than men, but I picture her as a smaller framed gal. And I had a devil of a time getting him out. May even have a hernia now!

I'm 5 foot 10, 150 pounds and I work out. Still, I found him really heavy.

I still stare at this guy all the time. Love it!

Now after seeing this in-hand, I am really happy with it. I love it.

I will be contacting Sideshow on Monday.... I received TWO Guinness head sculpts and no Ewan..... No big deal to me though.... I am sure SS will pull thorugh for me....

BTW, I have #100.......

I just checked the shipping status for mine and it should be here on Monday. Can you feel the excitement in the air, I can!

I am saying the lean only seems dramatic from a specific angle. For whatever reason, most of the pics I've seen coming from the owners do not include that angle.

It seems like a logical conclusion when a picture of that specific angle isn't included in the photos that are shared. When it is included, I see the lean. When it isn't, it obviously doesn't look as bad.

It's definitely one too get excited about. You will not be disappointed. Be sure to be careful with the small wrappings on his left leg.

That has to be the most nerve wracking statue assembly I have completed so far. The worst part was the rope piece. It was very firm to push in and how I will ever get it out to pack should I move I don't know.

Also, the right hand required some good pressure too.

Awesome statue though. #421 all set up.

You know, after looking at this statue, I really do not mind the ignited lightsaber.... especially with the Guinness sculpt (although I cannot check with the other head yet, LOL, as I got two Guinness heads)........ to me, its as if he is walking and then encounters some tuskin raiders or other wanders who are causing him trouble and he pulls his saber.... ala Denzel in the beginning of Book of Eli.

The more I look at it, the more and more I like it.

Yeah, I still have to glue mine back in. :wave
Yes, me too. Mine was loose when I opened it. I kind of like that it's not permanently attached. (I'm just using a piece of a glue dot to temporarily hold it firmer for now.) If I ever had to repackaged it, I have no doubts that it could snap-off in a heartbeat.
