For me I see this statue as right after he dropped Luke off and went to become a "hermit" so Ewan makes sense. Great thing about these is you can really decide on whatever story you want with them.

I see it as two statues. The first is Ewan relatively soon after Ep 3. But the second might be 10-15 years after that.

See for me it's the opposite. I expected to like Alec's head much more but I feel like Ewan's a better fit for the statue.

I know I am a bit late to this party but I have ordered OB1 and will hopefully have it by Friday :)

I am getting it from a local retailer so I am thinking it will be one of the 1st batch with the incorrectly numbered base... which in my opinion is cool :yess:

Congratulations!

What was the issue with the numbering in the first batch?

The factory incorrectly numbered the ES as 1200 not 2000

So the 1st 1200 statues are numbers 1/1200 for example and the 2nd batch will be numbered as 1201/2000

Its no big deal but I think it gives me another story to bore my non SW fan/collector friends lol

Never to late and congrats!!

ive said this before but Ben Kenobi and Kneeling Darth Vader are my only two statues for now. Fett is PO. but to anyone thinking about getting this piece... do it! ive had it since day 1 ship date and every time i walk into my room im forced to look at it with its commanding presence. its ART at its finest!
on topic I keep the Ewan head on mine for two reasons because when i see the piece i think of a middle aged Kenobi and the way he faces with the head on my shelf is better lol.

I just got mine today and the hole for the foot peg post is not deep enough. Any advice? Should I drill the hole deeper? Anyone else have this? Looks like about a 1/8-1/4" too shallow. Thanks!

I love Kneeling Vader so much.

I'd call Sideshow and talk to them.

I remember mine having an extremely tight fit. I had to be super careful but eventually the post was fully recessed in. Not sure if you've tried this, but it is a snug fit.

I had a similar problem with my Alien Big Chap PF, he floated a few mm off the base. However, gravity worked it's magic and after a day he had slid in snugly.

Either that or keep exerting light pressure. Good luck, hope it works out.

Mine is very snug as well. I think I got lucky and lined it up right because he went in pretty easy. I would hate to try and take him out as he is in tight and is very awkward because of the cape.

I do not think I'll ever need to worry about removing him from the base. This is one statue that I do not think I'll ever sell. I just love it. I have had it a week and the newness has not worn off.

I wonder how long it will take to sell out? Such an amazing work of art.

It really is a great statue. I'm hoping Vader turns out as good as I plan to display those two together.
