yer, what THE movie calls Emaa Frost anyways....
sorry u didnt know.my apologies for NOT thinking before writing....

I'm more excited bout HT's partnership with Marvel. Since I'm not that big of a fan of Wolvie the movie.

So I guess its safe to say that we are getting a HT Spiderman, when they make the next Spiderman movie! :D

I would pick up a Wolverine thats about it. Cant wait to see what HT offers us, what ever it is it will be near perfection I am sure.

The bone claws are cannon? I have been truly unfair about this movie to my circle of friends then.

Well if Hot Toys is gonna make a Wolverine, looks like I'm going to have to sell my Medicom Wolvie while I have a chance.

Why not just keep both? Medicom's is pretty kick ass.(last stand ver.) Plus who knows if HT is going to make the leather outfits, The HT one is going to be a Logan Jeans wearing one i believe. Both of mine are going together!

That's exactly it. What if Hot Toys does make a costume version? They love to make variations on their heroes.

You do make a good point about Medi's being kick ass, though. Esp. after I repainted the head on mine. But Hot Toys always blows me away with their stuff... I don't know. I may be reactionary on this one.

The odds are Hot Toys will NOT be making the Xmen costume since it doesn't appear in the film. So everyone gonna want that costume. You should keep it. Or if you really want to sell, wait till the figure is released and everyone is desperate for the Medi suit. The price will be way up

If you dropped Wolverine into the ocean, far away from any shore or shallow water, would he drown? The adamantium in his body would make swimming impossible, right? Is that the only way to kill Logan? I've read enough Wolvie and X-Men stories over the years (not a lot of them, but enough) to know that Wolverine's powers have become ridiculously overpowered. I mean, in the beginning, a few gunshots would take over an hour to heal. Now, he can freakin' be damaged so that 1 ^^^^ing cell remains and he'll still regenerate. Hulk could rip Wolverine's muthafuggin spine in half and the bastard would still be kicking in a few minutes. Death has no dominion over Wolverine. It's ridiculous.

Would a real Wolverine fan elaborate on this?

Okay. So, the Adamantum that is grafted to Wolverine's bones is folded hundreds of times over like they do with high quality samurai swords so it isn't that heavy so no he wouldn't drown, he has been seen swimming though many of his adventures.

As far as his healing abilities, the more they are used the more they continue to grow stronger. He has been killed, been mutilated, been burned, been blown up, each time his healing abilities getting faster and more elaborate (earlier adventures had him scar still). Claire's healing abilities from Heroes were said to be inspired by this with Adam Monroe on Heroes taking it to the next logical step having genes freeze consistantly healing over and over again so the aging process stops. Wolverine can't be credited for that because it seems like different artists and writers have it differently. Some used the original idea that he ages slowly and we see this in storylines like "The End" or "Days of the Future Past" where Wolverine is older but not old. Some artist use the "Monroe Healing Theory" and you get Wolverine 30 or 40 years into the future looking like a young man. The reason he doesn't look like a kid though is because he didn't start taking a lot moral injuries until his mid to late 30s so his aging didn't stop until then.

The thing that seems to be consistent is that whatever appendage he loses he must grow back, if he loses an arm he has to grow it back. Some writers have it going within hours, some have it within days. Deep wounds though have seems to be consistently taking minutes not hours or days.

I would say that when Spider-Man 4 is out we could expect to see stuff from HT. I don't seem them passing that license up.

If it doesn't show up in the film, I wouldn't expect it to show up from HT. If they variant Wolverine I guarantee it'll be a Military version as seen in the previews.

I thought there was an article somewhere saying that Hot Toys was planning to follow up with figures from the 3 X films after they did Wolverine. It came out on April 1st and people were quick to dismiss it as an April Fools joke. Can't find it now or else I would link it.

Here is the thing though, sure the suit could be placed onto the TrueType but HT will not include gloved hands with claws. So you'd have to mod the ones that Medi included. It won't be as easy as moving clothing around.

They said the same thing or at least were quoted as saying same thing about the Batman licenses going back to the earlier films but nothing either way has been confirmed concretely.

So take it for what it's worth. But I found it... https://cooltoyreview.com/story/front...nts_122117.asp

The line is expected to launch with a figure from each film. Collectors can look forward to images of Rogue, Nightcrawler, Colossus, and Deadpool. The main X-characters will be produced later in the line as deluxe all-inclusive versions. Keep an eye on CTR for images shortly.

I think Wolverine has become a ridiculous character. I liked him better when he was a contributing member of the X-Men, not the focus of 20 different books a month.

Wasn't there a story where Wolvie completely regenerated from a drop of blood? The guy bleeds alot, why aren't there like a billion Wolverines?

Of course in Hulk: Future Imperfect, Wolverine was dead. It was either the nuclear war or the Maestro himself that killed him.

Literally how strong or how "immortal" Wolverine is depends on the writer and the situation. The same way it goes with Hulk's strength, Reed Richards' elastic boundaries, Iron Man's suit restraints, Captain America's powers, etc.

That was entirely an April Fools joke. Nothing there is Official

Yes, that's very true, I just think they've gone a bit too far or have taken too many liberties with Wolverine's powers. Maybe it's just because the character is overexposed that made me think about it.

Oh. That's not a good April Fool's joke. Damn thing was near prophetic. You know jokes aren't supposed to be like that anyway. Jokes should be like, "what's the difference between peanut butter and jam?" Now that's a joke.
