And Rage... I have not yet had the pleasure of my very own Obi... but I did repaint a head for the awesome and patient Pjam... as posted in the Obi thread..

Ah that's right - I did see that there. Couldn't remember if you had done one yet. Keep those pics coming!

Thanks for the praise too Rage.... Han is one of my favorite characters and I want him to carry that attitude he had in spades.... I'm glad that I captured that and that you guys like what I've done.

Now if I could just do this well with ALL of my paint jobs.... :lol

Great job Josh! Yep, the first thing I did was paint over the eyebrows. If you watch ESB, you will notice that Harrison Ford has very minimal, light colored brows. Right now, I'm trying to acquire some good material for his new jacket. I will post pics when it is done. And yes, definitely repaint his hands! I did that too.

Like the eye brows on your Han Josh.

Well I FINALLY got my Han today. I am very pleased overall with him. I dont have any major complaints. His joints are very tight, much like Obis, the paint app is good and I love his gun belt. The mynock is huge, which is cool, just haven't found a way to properly display it. The pockets on his jacket are a little off, but I did't reqally notice til I sat there and stared at him. I don't see what would have been so hard to sow the pockets on straight. Anyway, overall, he is a great figure.

Thanks King.... I'm super glad you finally got yours too! He's a great figure, despite the little problems... just be careful with that belt! It's tricky... :lol

Great job DA, as always... I would suggest doing the hands too now since they now appear lifeless compared to the awesome paint job!

King, it turns out that some washers are the same diameter as the Mynocks mouth... at one point I drilled a washer into the wall behind Han and attatched the Mynock to that. It worked pretty good.

Sounds like a good idea there GB. If I should ever get off my ass, I shall try this!!!

Hopefully, I will have some free time soon to finish him up.

It might just be the light..... But he looks pretty good, and at least he is not shiny! That shows that you are doing good work IMO. All my old stuff was shiny as Hell, because I had NO idea what I was doing. :lol

I love what you are doing man, keep it up!! I wanna see this guy finished!!:D

No repaint or nothing, kinda boring compared to some of yours, but I like this set up alot. I can't wait for Leia to get a whole OT heros set up!

I actually have cotton balls in his hips, looks like I might need a little more going on there. Huh, didn't notice till I looked twice at the pic. Thanks a bunch!

Just giving this a bump since James posted his astounding Shrunken Head Solo! Feel free to add those pics to this thread.

Just thought I'd add because no one seems to have mentioned it -- for those still wanting to shrink Han's head down, can the head be boiled and then cooled without damage? When Hasbro was doing the heads to their figures, the heads started in the right proportions but somewhere along the way in production the materials they were using expanded, creating the melons we all know about. That's why they changed later on to a different material. I don't know if you could do something similar in your own home, only reverse the process, but it might be worth a try?

By the way, not having a HT body, would the super joe be an acceptable sub and give more natural poses than the Sideshow?
