Someone on facebook posted his GOD body with some wrinkles on the neck and forearm where it bends. It seems like a result of the rubber spray coating not materializing properly.

A friend of mine in Sweden is about to get his GOD:BTS set delivered on his doorstep.

Can you guys help me a check list for possible flaws that he needs to check the whole set for ?

  • Rub stain on chin and nose tip
  • Rub stains on the arm and upper body
  • Thin lines on the chest and upper back
  • Black stain on the body, arms and legs from the track suit
  • Black stain from the black bracelet on the right wrist and forearm
  • Crocked/crossed eyes on DB head - only if Evision eye system
  • Broken foot
  • Two left arms (or two right arms)
  • Diorama with one wall installed up side down
  • Dents, nicks, rips on the diorama (including the back and underneath)
  • Loose treads or stitching on the track suits
  • Too light foot print and dirt marks on the “dirty” track suit
  • Rubber peels on joints and neck

EDIT: Updated check list.

Yeah I too noticed very thin wrinkles on his forearms when bent. Also look for white marks, I've seen one on the front of the torso and mine has one on the shoulderblade. They're not stains and don't come off.

Ok, let's talk ETD versions,

Am I right in thinking that the red cover 2 disc version (The one I've just got.) has all the documentaries, but not the uncut version of the movie!?

The black cover double sided one I have has the uncut movie but no documentaries save for Bruce Lee: In His Own words.

it was passed uncut in 2001 roger..so i would imagine ''uncut'' would'nt be needed anymore
wonder if that EB hairpiece has the plastic bit removed to fit the HT head..if its cheaper than £20 may be worth a go.hairs £25

As mentioned earlier in this tread: I would reccomend the lable Hong Kong Legends (HKL) 2-disc "Platinum Edition" releases of all of Bruce's movies. Cine-Asia.com will now be releasing the same titles and versions/2-disc releases as HKL defunct back in 2007. Btw, these are releases from Europe and Australia.

“Big Boss” does still miss some scenes, so would not be “fully uncut” (even though HKL released the 1-disc release wrongly as a "full uncut version") and different versions and small edits and cuts exists in different prints. This is all a very different matter and very complicated - but you can check out a friend of mine’s (Jason Hart) article on the “full uncut” version of “Big Boss” if you are interested: https://littledragon.builtfree.org/boss.html

Which collector is that mate ? Is that Marc Storey guy - who used to be the presenter during the Tracking the Dragon conventions with George Tan and Chris Alexis ?
