same here larry.i too like the statue.but the facial features on the released version (i described) make bruce look a little cross-eyed and jaw line isnt as rounded, and maybe the ''latts'' look the same, but the torso seems different to me,but cant quite put my finger on it..so yeh give me the proto ;)

ENTERBAY Bill has a lot of expensive cameras. He's a photography nut. So naturally he's gonna try to take amazing shots for everything.

Will any other body work with the extra bruce lee dx head??

the suit/casual body and the RM-X are suitable.and i guess any other with a ball neck joint may do,as long as its a similar size to a bruce lee body and not an overly muscle/bigger framed body.you could try modding an old BL3.5 too by removing the neck peg and maybe using some bluetack to support/fill the ball joint?

Nope!

Mind you, I have recently spent as much as a new EB one would cost on graphics software. The thing with that is that I can create anyone I want with it, well within reason anyway!

I think the last new 1/6th I'm likely to get for the foreseeable is the HT Muscle TT I've had on PO since July. That's out in Jan 2012 and I'll see how I feel about everything else then.

I feel happier blowing $250 on something I never stop using than on something that stands there reminding you how overindulgent you've been.

You thought the proto pics were bad, & the 'in hand' pics posted on here were better? Not me. I do like the statue, but I would trade it for the proto advertised, no sweat.

Not the proto pics, the 'final product pics' Enterbay put up. They were awful.

So I take it you're not excited about the upcoming $2000 Legendary Scale line of statues ? :D

Can I get a "Hayull no!?"

1/6 is just getting too costly for me. When I started out I could get a figure I liked for £40, you put a zero on the end of that and I'm outta here!

Obviously I want to lurk around and see what y'all are up to, that won't change, but, what I spend my money on unless it's on pain of death necessary will have to.

When you're on social security you have to make the best of any money you get and I wasn't doing. I was spending way too much just to follow the crowd and forgot that the crowd all had jobs and more money than me.

If, by some miracle, I do get a job, well, I'll review things then, till then I've got to play it safe.

Hey SAB, Lejuan, or anyone else in Australia.

Could you check out if "Bruce Lee: In Pursuit of the Dragon" (2009) is out on DVD in "down under" ? It is supposed to be out - but I am a bit unsure why only one DVD shop has listed it, and no one else has ?... The one I found is an exclusive limited edition metal cover release with a 2nd. disc containing "Bruce Lee; A Warriors Journey" (2000), but I was wondering if there might be a "non-exclusive" release with this new travelogue documentary by John Little (with or without the "Bruce Lee; A Warriors Journey" documentary) ?

By the way, "Bruce Lee: In Pursuit of the Dragon" will also have a UK (Europe) release. Stay away from the French release which also had a double feature identical to the above Australian release, but this one had French audio track and an early rough cut of this travelogue documentary, which was not supposed to be released - but they went ahead anyways and released it last year (2010).

Hi GungFu

I just checked JB HiFi (which is by far the biggest DVD/CD retailer in Australia. Its listed on their website and online store:
https://www.jbhifionline.com.au/dvd...ourney-pursuit-of-the-dragon-metalbook/652192

If they're listing it as in stock then they definitely have it.
I hadn't heard of this doco before, I'll have to check it out thanks :)

EDIT: description also says "Exclusive to JB HI-FI with limited metalbook packaging with liquid Yin Yang Satchel" which would explain why it only appears here :)

SAB, I thank you man for looking into it

Are you getting it SAB ?

The metal cover does not impress me, and I really do not need another copy of "Bruce Lee: A Warrior's Journey" as it is in the exact same version as the one who was actually first released on DVD in Australia, before the rest of the world. I might want to wait with Chris till it is released in UK.

By the way, I got a my name mentioned in the credits in the "Bruce Lee: In Pursuit of the Dragon".

Chris, I thought you wrote £30 in shipping - but I got it: it was the total cost with the price and shipping of course.. Hehe....

I might get it, but I'm in the same boat as you. I don't want a metal cover and I don't need a 4th copy of Warrior's Journey!

LOL don't tease us. Why is your name in the credits?

It's not a must for me. I've got all the ETD I'm likely to need. I might still get GOD though. I do somehow get the feeling though that the footage featured in Warrior's Journey is as good as that gets.

Long story, but in a very short summery: I was part of a few good men who helped John Little out with the locations

The footage shown on Warriors Journey is better than the Game Of Death movie :lol I'd probably recommend watching the movie, only to cure your curiosity :D
