I've been playing the new UFC game with Bruce Lee in there.

Fun stuff. Great to hear Joe Rogan talking about how insane Bruce Lee's hand speed is and other Lee specific commentary in the game

The polygon model doesn't really look enough like Bruce Lee to me. I think I'd be way more interested in the game if the 3D model was more accurate.

Agreed ...although inside the octagon when you're fighting its good enough.
Up close, not so much.

Not like they could do the face scan on Bruce like they did the rest of the UFC fighters.

Didn't they do a face scan of a real life face cast from the Bruce Lee estate? I thought I saw something like that mentioned on a demonstration video. The guy demoing the game had to lower the difficulty level because the CPU was schooling him

Scanning a cast isn't as good as scanning a real life person I guess.

I hadn't actually heard that!
I just figured he was created by artists rather than scanned.
Sometimes in UFC games where the fighter wasn't able to make one of the scanning sessions or was signed after they finished, they will create him from scratch rather than leave him out of the game ....and you can generally tell because the fighter won't look nearly as good in game as the ones that were scanned

I figured they did the same with Lee.

Videogames can replicate superhero level (like The Flash in one of the more recent DC fighting games) strike speed, so I think game developers could handle Bruce Lee. I'm not saying the UFC videogame replicates his speed, I'm simply saying I think it's possible in videogaming. I still want a proper Bruce Lee videogame. Imagine controlling him where he fights the Japanese students in 'Fist Of Fury', or taking on Kareem in 'Game Of Death'. Still into videogames myself, that would be really cool for me.

Even better yet, a martial arts movie all stars fighting videogame with Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, Chuck Norris, JCVD, Jet Li, Steven Seagal (yeah even him ) ..... etc, that would be mint.
