Agreed, whether anything's changed or it's just seeing it in this new context, it does look even better than before.

Yeah, that shot looks pretty friendly. Thankfully the eyes will play a big role in displaying this figure. And that shot is just about as good as anybody could hope for.
Wish I could afford this one.

OMG!!!! We have a work of art guys and now theres no doubt Captain Jack is figure of the year.
I think what is going to help the most on this one is that Sparrow has a lot of eye shadow anyway so any inset PERS that appears to have eye liner will be completely offset by that.
Well, all doubt removed now, the AWE Jack's rum bottle is shown in the official picture here so it will be included with this for those wishing he came with a rum bottle.
Really thinking about ordering a 2nd Jack now...will probably pull the trigger and give myself a nice (another) Christmas gift

man I just cannot get over how great this figure looks. I mean HT really outdid themselves here. I personally feel, for my collection at least, this one will be very difficult to top if it even can be topped.

First time I am considering ordering a second figure too. I really would like to display both sculpts and the diferent costume options (with and without jacket).

Yeah exactly!!! I didn't think this would've beaten the Jack Joker, but after seeing the new sculpts, this will be extremely hard to beat. Its just a thing of beauty

if you buy directly from SS then yep about $250. But if you buy from a retailer, it'll be about $230 (at least that's what I'm paying by ordering at Alter Ego
)same here. I really hope it's just like the Indy release in that we get it right around when HK gets him
And the sooner we get him, the sooner my extra DX clothes come from TA to throw onto my custom COTBP Jack
This will easily be a centerpiece of my entire collection, let alone HT, 1/6, or Pirates.
