I wouldn't be able to sleep if my figure looked like that. I have often got out of bed after having noticed something out of place on a figure and put it WHERE IT SHOULD BE! haha

I'm not a "has to be 100% screen acurate" kind of person. I left the claw and beeds off his belt and as long as I like it its fine with me.

I wanted to show off as many of the Witekite things as I could that made sense... I'll probably add the jar of dirt as well.

I just went back and put both those on.... those beads were difficult.


And I have to say the ship in the bottle is pretty nice. They did a great job on it.

I don't know how much the claw is like the old one, but I found I was able to just tuck the rope into one of the belt buckles on the old Jack and it works good and then if the beads are the same, you have to take his belts off and run it through. It's a pain, I don't blame anyone who doesn't care enough for skipping it. I'm very picky with Jack Sparrow so I worry about all that.

The compass is what my brother and I struggled the most since the belt was super tight and neither of us wanted to remove the belt. We got it through by using a toothpick and water The beads and the claws on the other hand is easy. I simply push the belt buckle down so that the gap between the belt and the buckle is wide. I then dip the string of the beads/claw in water and twist it with my forefingers and thumbs so that it can be a bit stiff. After that, depending on what item I am going to loop the belt buckle to, I push the buckle away with my left hand and slide the wet string into the gap with my right hand. I added all the items on the belt w/o moving it. Hope this helps for anyone who couldn't get the beads/claw through.

So how is everyone getting the hat to stay on? I am afraid that if I push it down on his head its going to tear. whoever decided to make it out of cheap thin paper mache really screwed up... I thought I was going to put my finger right through it trying to put it back in its slot in the box.

They're not shipping the regular editions until then, the long telescope versions are shipping now. I'd say it's because HT hasn't sent their stock of regulars yet.

I'm not really a big fan of the POTC series, but I think I'm going to pick this figure up as a Christmas gift for myself. It looks absolutely stunning!

I'm confused here. Are all US versions gonna have the SS exclusive sticker on it? Do all US pieces include the telescope?
I hope I didn't cancel my SS order for nothing.

All I know is that when I last asked AE which one I'd be getting, they said it would be with the long telescope.
