I kept getting an error message every time I tried signing up for that UPS My Choice thing and I missed the package today. Guess I'm going to have to reschedule the delivery for Friday when I'll be here. A pain in the ass, but I guess no big deal since I'm saving him for Christmas to open anyway.

Got mine today. Fantastic figure. He's my first DX. Box came with a small rip on the on the first folded edge of the lid. Nothing to go ape ____ over though.

I got my Jack today... I could barely contain myself, I'm so happy with it. It's a wonder I'll get ANY work done today.

I'm totally amazed with all the ridiculous details on it... really stuff that didn't HAVE to be there at all, that perhaps many people will not notice. His belt has tiny little holes in it, even in the back... the back of his vest is a different fabric from the front (as it should be...) there are tiny tiny little buttons at the calf area of his pants and a tiny buckle/band to hold his pants closer to his leg, just like the real Jack's pants. Even though 90% of the time all this detail will be hidden by his boots!
The tiny compass not only opens but has a TINY TINY latch.

and I ADORE the moving eye mechanism.
I don't regret my purchase for a moment, I think this might be the coolest "toy" I've ever gotten.
Here's a quickie iphone pic of mine on my desk at work today.
I can't wait to see what HotToys does next. It'd be awesome if they did Han Solo or some Lord of the Rings characters.
If only they'd do Disney princess ones. (I know, I know, I'm a girl.)

I wonder if sideshow is holding the distribution of other stores to help promote their sales? I think that is why we are seeing free shipping from them now. To many customers are moving to other distributors. Just a thought.

I ordered from a guy on ebay who "apparently" already had him on preorder, so as soon as he gets him, he's supposed to send it to me. IDK when the hell they're getting in stock anywhere though. did people who ordered from SSC get theirs yet??
