Received captain jack today. The ankles are very loose and sloppy, worse than thors are. Hot toys quality control has sure went down hill from 2 years ago when i started collecting these.

So you crack open this epic figure, and the only thoughts you have are about the loose ankle pegs? No thoughts on the insanely detailed outfit or uncanny portrait?

Yeah, Its always the same with ebay sellers! "One more week... One more week..." I was thinking that once he sells all his "ready now" jacks, then he will start shipping the "preorder" ones.
Goodshipped is a great guy though. I use him nearly all the time.

Glad he's reliable- this was my first ebay pre order, was very apprehensive at first.

It looks like neither of us are gonna get him before christmas, now with holiday delays etc i'm guessing it'll be mid january before he arrives! i'm gutted.

I wish when he said ''one more week'' three weeks ago I just paid the extra 30 quid and got a ready now Jack.

I got my Jack today... I could barely contain myself, I'm so happy with it. It's a wonder I'll get ANY work done today.

I'm totally amazed with all the ridiculous details on it... really stuff that didn't HAVE to be there at all, that perhaps many people will not notice. His belt has tiny little holes in it, even in the back... the back of his vest is a different fabric from the front (as it should be...) there are tiny tiny little buttons at the calf area of his pants and a tiny buckle/band to hold his pants closer to his leg, just like the real Jack's pants. Even though 90% of the time all this detail will be hidden by his boots!
The tiny compass not only opens but has a TINY TINY latch.

and I ADORE the moving eye mechanism.
I don't regret my purchase for a moment, I think this might be the coolest "toy" I've ever gotten.
Here's a quickie iphone pic of mine on my desk at work today.
I can't wait to see what HotToys does next. It'd be awesome if they did Han Solo or some Lord of the Rings characters.
If only they'd do Disney princess ones. (I know, I know, I'm a girl.)

My fiance got her Jack in today... She figured out a neat way to display him, a heck of a lot better then where i would of had him!

Got Jack and he is beyond perfect no complaints!! Box is a little beat up but the figure itself is beyond belief!! I just compared my HT Jack to my Neca jack hahahaha I will never be able to go back to that now!!

He's not even posed yet, and he completely tales command of the shelf. Well done.

Got mine today as well.....Fantastic figure....figure of the year imo. Love it. Did anybody else have a hard time getting Jack's hat to stay on his head right? Should not be that hard. But the out fit is top notch. Both head sculpts are amazing. The boots are awesome. The wheel is great but I haven't tied it down just yet. The pirate flag is kind of weird to include. I don't think I'll ever display it. Who knows. The long telescope is well....long. Great, great, great figure. Love it.
