I am a little worried just because I love it so (and the cost!) but several of my other coworkers have hot toys out or rare japanese toys, so I think I'm ok. I leave my expensive headphones out, too. D:

I wonder if sideshow is holding the distribution of other stores to help promote their sales? I think that is why we are seeing free shipping from them now. To many customers are moving to other distributors. Just a thought.

I don't think so since a sale is a sale whether it is with individual customers or various retailers it's more of a case of Hot Toys releasing their products in various batch's. My first figure was from Corner store comics and and I remember the girl stating that they were expecting the product to come in at different batches I think they ordered some where in the neighbor hood of 250 War Machine Figures. Side show will first satisfy there own orders and then those of its retailers. Captain America has now been placed on back order till January 2012.

I would be very surprised to see this figure in December from the other retailers as places like AmiAmi have him on restock in January but I could be wrong lets see what CSC does next week

Sorry if this has been asked on here, but I read back through a bit and didn't see anything. Is SSC held up on these or something? I POed the exclusive, and had received a processing alert saying my account would be charged on Dec 7th, and nothing. I emailed customer service on Tuesday and have yet to hear back from them. Any info anyone could give would be appreciated. Thanks

Still waiting on any word from SSC about Jack, but I did get Cap'n America, and that figure has the most amazing outfit I've ever seen on a 1:6 figure. I'm thoroughly impressed with that one.

Mine arrived today. Unfortunately, I am having surgery tomorrow so removing him from the box will have to wait.

Issues with my coat though, looking into getting a replacement. But it is missing one of the buttons on the back, and the metal wire (for posing) is poking through

Do you think SS'll replace?

i'm sure they'll take care of you but it'll take time, I'm waiting to hear my options for dealing with paint rubbed off the nose of my smirking head and I got a message today that it could be 5-7 business days before hearing from anyone.

Well, based on other figure threads, I think HT needs to listen to the message that QC problems will not be tolerated as they raise prices and perhaps even Sideshow could help get that message through with all the returns and replacements of late, if they're close with each other I'd hope Sideshow would say hey, get it together.

I am glad the buttons are sewn on the coat so no worries of cheap glue letting go.

Yeah. What the hell happened with this release? I always go with CSC because they have the same price as AE (usually) and they get their stock sooner. I usually have my figure in hand by the time AE is shipping. What the hell happened here?? And of all figures it has to be Jack?

I am too, was surprised at it missing. I thought it actually had unstitched itself and was looking for the button in the box...to no avail.

Will keep you guys posted! This figure is definitely my fave HT release so far. Excellent likeness, countless of display possibilities, and great artistic craftsmanship
