What ever happened to that Cannibal Jack chair we saw many years ago?

Thanks for this - I've never seen that before. I dipped into the relevant thread yesterday and there was a comment in there from someone who works for Hot Toys in 2013 that said 'cancelled'... I hope we see this again, it looks sensational. They're leaving money on the table if they don't make this and a Barbossa.

There were pictures of the actual chair too, at AniCon or somewhere, but they've all been taken down. You can still see them if you google Cannibal Jack chair.

Got to say, I have a hard time working out how they can improve this figure.

The coat could do with a lot of improving and the sword belt/scabbard is not long enough and the headsculpt is slightly undersized in my opinion. Still have the figure and still love the figure. I would never sell it.

I prefer the Enterbay sculpt. And I've swapped the scabbard with the NECA one

I lost track of the Enterbay figure years ago before it came out - did have sound in the end?

Not making Barbosa was a big mistake, I hope they make it one day.

Custom base made by Mudblood finally arrived. At last I can put Jack in a place he deserves, he didn't look right with DC/Marvel/Terminator figs in my detolf.

The base looks sweet! Really captures the feel of a wet and woody deck. Plus the black outlining is really classy and fits perfectly with my display case.
I opted to not use a stand since it looks more natural (plus Jack is sturdy enough). So I put his hat on the small hole in the back, haha.

I am very happy with the base, it makes me like the DX06 even better!
Let's hope Hot Toys release more PotC in the future, then I would need more of these.

That looks awesome! I want to make one for myself now. I have my Jack between DX11 and Bane, who both have the DX stands. I'm glad you like it!

Not everyone wants to make tons of money selling these. I usually sell mine uber cheap just to clear space.

This is the best deal of all my figures for $138. Definitely worth it.

I love Captain Jack Sparrow when he's serious. And it's rare to see. I like to imagine he is a total badass like the real Blackbeard.
