Re: Official NECA The Terminator Thread

Grat Idea ore we write to Neca Online and Twitter and Facebook.

Re: Official NECA The Terminator Thread

I just said on the last page that Randy _____k will block you on twitter if you tell NECA that they have problems with their paint. Try reading.

Re: Official NECA The Terminator Thread

Hmm... maybe because these certain scenes are the reasons these figures are being made. Why else would NECA make so many variations of the same characters? .

Money. It's cheap to produce the same bodies over and over and over again with a new head, or arm.

Re: Official NECA The Terminator Thread

@S. Griffit, I read it an what ?
____ of Randy, he can not Blog all People .
He is not Neca, write on Twitter, Facebook and necaonline and many Sites more.

Re: Official NECA The Terminator Thread

And he is NECA on twitter, therefore writes for NECA on twitter and can block whoever the ____ he feels like...apparently that's anyone who has any problem with their products.
Also, LMFAO @ "Griffit" and "Blog people" and whatever the hell else it is that he said at the end there.

Re: Official NECA The Terminator Thread

I think a real Terminator fan would know that its Reese, not 'Rhys' :wink1: Just messing with you.

I had to cancel my order for these but I'll be ordering again as soon as I can.

hahahahah very true:slap

Re: Official NECA The Terminator Thread

Picked up the Police shootout figure the other day. Pretty cool figure, but the articulation isnt as good as I expected. Im still on the lookout for an endoskeleton.

Re: Official NECA The Terminator Thread

Got the Police Station shootout today. Great paint and everything feels solid. Very happy! This must be either a fluke or the new batch of Terminator figures are being made with better QC. I got mine from BBTS

Re: Official NECA The Terminator Thread

Got mine the other day. Pretty happy with them. The T-1000 has this wierd scaly paint job on his face but only when viewed right close up.

Anyone had any breaks on the Donut head T-1000? The joints look like a different plastic to what was used on the woeful T2 series 3.

The likeness on the eyebrowless Tech Noir headsculpt is great. Not so much on the Police Shootout headsculpt with the Gargoyles - something is just off there. The other one is good though with exposed endo-eye.

Re: Official NECA The Terminator Thread

So, I just ordered The Police Station Assault off of Amazon and it looks great. I've heard bad things about the Tech Noir, though...is the paint job really that bad on most of them?

Is it going to be a pretty big gamble to get a decent looking one ordering online?

Re: Official NECA The Terminator Thread

I can't speak for 'most' but the one I received from BBTS is about as good as one can expect. Yes the blood goes a little onto his nose, some of the hair on the back of his head nearest the skin is painted in skin colour and like the first wave of T1 they aren't painting the whites of the eyes - probably because this was a problem area on previous figures and when it looks bad it looks really bad. I'm loving the paint on the eyebrowless, eyes looking sideways head though I have to say. The likeness on that head in particular is great.

As for hopes about Toyfair news etc - They obviously have Kyle Reese in mind which is great. I assume the BD version of the T1 T-800 will be an anchor-type figure to go with him and then the T-800 is done. I'd like if they'd put out at least one more T-1000 aswell though - based on when the T-800 cuts him in two from his shoulder down to his waist. Then we could finally get that damn metal bar that they both used on eachother which neither Neca or Hot Toys has provided - and which is surprisingly difficult to find any real-world object to represent it.

Are you speaking of the battle damaged tech noir? I was thinking about ordering the regular one from the first series.

Oh. Yes I was talking about the BD one. The long-haired first version doesn't look as bad in person as it does in flash-photographs which is where all the negative feelings about it come from. Thats not to say the camera is lying - they're low end paintjobs - but I got 2 of him (both online) and I'm pretty happy with them overall. The sculpt is always is excellent.

Cool, thanks. I might take a chance and order it.

I missed out on getting these at my local Toys R Us. I usually like to look through them in person to get the best looking one, paint wise.
