I love that galleria sculpt to this day. The first release was such a pure, classic, tick all the boxes figure.

Looks like the same head that was on the Man or Machine prototype.









I think the only new thing are the legs.

The head on the figure looks smaller than the 2 on stands and does look like the older head.

I'm on twitter and don't recall that quote, is why I ask. I also did a search through their feed and didn't see a direct reference using a variety of associated terms.

I asked him if it was a new sculpt by Kyle, he said yes. Lots of freaking out. Although looking at the sculpt, it looks the exact same as the 2009 heads. All three of them.

Those prototype pics of the original 4 figures are a real trip down memory lane. Seeing those for the first time was something else - that was before even MMS117 as I recall.

Victory is mine! I knew it. It just looked very subtly different. The facial dimensions are perfect - something HT has never managed.

I can see that I suppose. Didn't RvsT come from the T2 era? And with more endoskeleton on show with T2's particular battle-damage....

Head doesn't look different from the Man or Machine proto to me but my eyes probably suck. You guys be the judge.

Really dont like the head on the John Matrix, but the sunglasses head sculpt on the Ultimate T2 looks awesome

They're the same sculpt. So far, nothing is blowing me away by NECA this year.

Uhhh....yeah now I'm not sure. I'm at work so I can't compare but with the clearer shots they seem the same as the old ones. Still, that's how you sculpt Arnie's T2 hair. I love how it doesn't look like a stupid afro.

The Commando figure, not loving that one. Maybe it's the paint. But if they can't even paint the prototype well how is the mass-produced figure gonna look.
