I don't think it's a case of them ''moving'' it, more that they simply aren't providing a pistol-holding left hand - they provided both a left and right trigger hand with the previous T-1000 figures (I think)

Yeah, you're right. They did. Still weird, though. I don't think Robert Patrick ever holds the pistol in his right hand in T2, since he's left handed. Odd that they'd lose the correct one out of the two hands.

If memory serves he uses his left hand in the galleria and his right hand in Pescadero when he's firing and running at the same time.

yep, Cameron made both his terminators fully ambidextrous. that was very cool and thoughtful.

I'm passing on the Ultimate T-1000. Doesn't look any different from previous versions save for four joints in the legs. T-1000 is one of the worst experiences I've ever had with NECA and quality control be it paint or broken joints. That cheap black plastic they used in the arm joints is horrible. I wouldn't recommend swapping out the arms too often. Hell, I didn't even mess with mine that often and they eventually fell apart.

Just give me that awesome Sarah Connor.

NECA's QC has been pretty decent lately as far as I know so I wouldn't expect a repeat of the horrible QC from the initial T-1000s unless by sheer coincidence they happen to fall back on this particular figure.

I know NECA still has some issues, but I feel like Terminator marked the end of an era known heavily for QC issues. I bought two of the same Jack Sparrow to have the shoulder hinge break. I've had a T-1000 elbow break. None of my more recent figures have had problems other than maybe paint slop, but not breaking, and the only one that even makes me nervous is Keaton Batamn because his arms are thin and of course, the elbow joints, which is a worry with Sarah.

I'm amazed at how little breakage some of you guys reported on the initial T-1000s. I bought quite a lot of them, some from the US and some from the UK - my list of parts that didn't break would be much shorter than the list of parts that just crumbled away.

Based on some experience with NECA prior to the T2 line, I approached them with caution. Plus all the tails on here, I've limited posing. The one T-1000 breakage may not have even happened naturally, it broken in a box in storage so it could have easily just been weight on the weaker joint.

All of my Neca stuff is good, just wish that my 1/4 89 Batman, Cap and Chicken Man would stop falling onto my wife's foot.
