I'm ok with the new Cap because that Avengers Cap was all kinds of wrong.

But a Returns Batman would've been appreciated because of Catwoman.

To be fair to NECA they're probably too good throughout the rest of the year with twitter reveals. Say if they'd not shown that 1:4 T-800 a couple of weeks ago or the Aliens Sentry Gun accessory pack, we would have at least been talking about those if we were seeing them here for the first time.

Regardless though, the lack of T2 John was always going to disappoint me no matter what. ''Surprise'' reveals of comic-based crap was never going to excite me but those sets do seem to have an audience.

This event only covers the first 6 months of the year. They'll have Blade Runner and Aliens at SDCC.

I wish they put as much effort into the Terminator line, sculpt wise as they did on the 1/4 Ninja Turtle line. It shows signs of laziness.

Yeah not really sure what they are playing at releasing a 1/4 scale T2 figure. Its already been done by Enterbay and done much better..

But that figure is long sold out and was at a much higher price point in any case. I don't think there's anything wrong with them putting out a 1:4 T2 right now. They have to look at what sort of 1:4 scale collection they're building for their own fans and when they're making 90s Turtles, Burton Batman stuff, horror stuff, Marvel stuff, Alien and Predator then damn right Terminator deserves some representation there.

Yup we want them to release more Terminator and Predator not less.

But NECA needs to focus on not remaining stagnant with license innovation.

Yes take some risks and expand.

Neca always pull out enough interesting surprises to make their shows memorable. I don't think this year was any different. As a Terminator fan above all else though, it's been too long since they dropped something I couldn't refuse.

Nothing new for me at this show but they are still my go-to toy company. As long as they're working on these licenses there is always hope. Hot Toys on the other hand have virtually disappeared off the map as far as I'm concerned.

That looks awesome! Great pic. I always thought NECA did a good job sculpting Robert Patrick. Not perfect, but pretty close.

Does anyone know the true color of the plasma rifles in T2? Are they black/silver? Or just gun metal grey?

Thanks! I think they did a good job with his likeness. The sculpts still hold up pretty well. I did have to add an extra coat of silver to the blade arm, it was bit dull looking right out of the box.
