Disappointing bunch of tweets. And I see DiFabio is getting grief just for trying to make the case for John. Man.

Yup, Randy's personal Merry Men at the scene of even the slightest criticism, every time. I even prefaced a couple of those tweets with praise and mentioned how much I love NECA, but still got "ur a troll", "he a troll", "TROLL".

Atleast I got him to admit some of his Aliens are poor sellers (or "slow sellers" as he put it ). I also got this sense based on the hostility from Randy and his boys that a lot of people are disappointed with their Terminator offerings. I looked on Facebook after his fan bois mentioned "annoying Terminator fans" and the people there are like us on here. At the end of the day, I appreciated him answering my questions, but I'm not even sure why he bothers to go on there. I've always appreciated him answering questions but when I think about it, he never really discloses anything of value as far as QnA is concerned. Though, I gotta admit from a PR perspective having someone there constantly retweeting people's praise and collection pics is a very good idea.

I agree with this completely and have said as much myself many times^

But that doesn't mean you have to be a total ****ing a$$lick and butt in on a conversation about something you yourself probably don't even give a ***t about judging by comments like ''annoying Terminator fans'' - if indeed that was said, I personally didn't see it.

I like NECA but if I'm gonna praise someone, it's the original sculptors and the engineers for their work, the mass produced mold, re-mold, cast, re-cast I can live without, where does this god complex come from? It's gotta be due to these brown nosers.

We're ''never happy'', we just ''keep asking for more''. I know, shocking that as toy collectors we'd entreat a toy company to continue making more toys so we can give them more of our money.

OK. So can't the same strategy apply to John Connor? I'll take it whatever way I can get it. Sure I'd prefer if he was in the regular line so I wouldn't be at the mercy of scalpers and I'd be able to buy him in large quantities for multiple scenes but if that can't happen, fine, I'll accept him as an exclusive and/or in a 2pack just like Newt.

Yup. And I tweeted those suggestions immediately after he said that to me. Got nothing though. He never replied to those suggesstions (I mentioned two packs and Kyle and an Endo being bundeled together too), he only went after my tweets where I mentioned Terminator getting shafted and that it would be nice to see something more than new legs.


So yeah, it's all about profit when it comes to Terminator. He said they only sell just "okay" compared to Aliens and Predators. Well no ****. They put in a lot more effort into those two than Terminator. That whole rebuttal about the cinemachines and the QS is BS because if the sales is what they're going to use to gauge interest for all things Terminator, than classic Terminator stuff is doomed. They've saved so much in tooling and little character selection that it's no wonder that they only do okay and not gangbusters.

I wanna buy more stuff but there's nothing to buy!

There's a lapse in logic aswell when they say things like ''be happy with what you have''. If I'm happy with what I have then I guess there's no need for me to buy anything else at all, is there?

It's been like that for years now. I forget which year and show it was, but they were hyping up Terminator 2 stuff and they never delivered. Every show for the past year or two in terms of Terminator have been disappointing. I remember all of us were chomping at the bit last summer to see what they were going to debut at SDCC and they didn't show jack ****. Hell forget John Connor for a second, they're not even doing anything new with pre-existing things they already have. An "Ultimate" Kyle Reese would be so easy. A Steel Mill T-800 and T-1000 with new legs would be simple and cost effective. Something, anything.

It's so bad that they used that 3 year old Walmart Endoskeleton as space filler. They didn't even have sample boxes for the cinemachines. That "shelf" they had for it didn't even get any coverage from anyone at Toy Fair, which speaks volumes for the line as a whole.

Well, what better time will there be than this year with T2 getting theatrically rereleased? So yeah, if John isn't shown at SDCC we can probably give up.
