Are there any plans for an HT Predator from the original film?

As for actual plans that HT has stated publicly, none that I know of. But if Mcfarlane could do Pred 1, then it's only a matter of time.

That is a good idea.

Getting some real, valid Hot Toys release info would indeed be great.
But I agree, the only Preds we will most likely see for a while is the AVP 2 ones. But, they got older licences like Robocop, so why not Predator?
Age has nothing to do with it. Just what 20th Century Fox decides to let them produce, I would think.

But, the new Preds do look like the original, so some minor changes may make for a decent P1.

I gotta imagine that any figure/toy released with a movie is going to do better than a figure/toy from a movie more than ten years old. So I don't expect to see any Pred 1 or 2 figures until after AvP2 but before any talk of AvP3 (if there is such a thing).

If Chopper looked like that out of the box, I'd have ordered him a long time ago. He's looking very tribal there.

Barely holding out....just how many Predators are out there? Scar, Celtic, Ancient, Elder and Chopper? I'm not talking about variations just types.

Scar and Celtic come with a slightly inferior body. Looser joints that they fixed.
