I've modded my Vader to this body myself and it's never looked better. Pretty easy to do, too.

Hi guys, ANH Vader has been my fav 1/6 figure for a couple of years. Got the custom cape set a year ago which really elevated it.
Was looking at getting a Hasbro Vader for the dome mod.

Do you think the mod is doable for someone with very limited customizing experience? Are we talking 'bout some simple cut and paste or is the risk of cracking the helmet quite high?

I'm attempting the mod myself and have the Hasbro Dome arriving soon. The Hasbro Dome has one peg in the center on the inside of the helmet . From what I know all you have to do is Dremmel that one peg down and it should fit on Vaders head perfectly .

Its up to you as to how low you want it to sit . Most people use just Blue Tack to hold the helmet so they can switch out the domes between Hasbro and SS. If your dead sure which one you want to use then you can just Superglue the Dome.

Also you want to buy some clear matte or flat finish for the dome since it wasn't shiney in ANH.

I don't think there is too much risk as far as the dome cracking.

Every knows flosi is the easiest, shropt is easy too just not cheap

I noticed not many do the glove mod I did(I could be wrong). I definitely recommend it. The SS gloves are too long on the KP body. I cut about 2 ribbed stitches from mine. Looks a bit better IMO.
