Still not sure I like the KP, TBH... I'm still on the modded Vader body, though it is pretty big..... Hasbro dome is the way to go, IMO. I need to matte spray mine, as I really dig yours, Hector.

Back to ANH Vader... thanks to Pix I got a set of the Lforigno robes in yesterday and was able to get a KP02 from TA as they had a few in stock.

I'll take pictures today, but I'm quite happy with the mods. I won't say it's 100% better than what I had before, but I do think the bulk of the body and size is a bit more on-point.

Glad you hooked Cking upwith the Hasbro Dome! Hopefully I'll see my Cape and Tunic set soon . I have the Hasbro Dome coming any day now and am picking up some Matte finish tomorrow . Is the best place to get it an arts and crafts store??

Also on the Hasbro Dome you pretty much just have to dremmel out the peg on the inside?

Yeah, I think an arts and craft store would be your best bet... I think you can buy a spray matte finish. That would probably give you the best result... just be sure to test it on something else first and get comfortable with how the finish covers.

And yeah, just remove the peg and position as you see fit.

Tried punching the extra lines on the gloves. Not working out. Looks terrible. Then again, I'm no customizer.

Thanks Richard! Before I made the stupid decision of selling my first Vader, I had him on the modified Vader body too. I was pretty damn happy with it. I was young and naive then. Didn't know all I need was Lance's cape and tunic to make this a masterpiece.

I don't like Vader on the KP body. Arms are too short and the sleeves are all bunched up. Very little articulation. I prefer my modded Vader body and the SS dome over the Hasbro.

My Hasbro dome arrived today . Aside from making adjustments with Blue Tac to get the helmit to fit properly I think the Hasbro Dome is the way to go. I bought some matte finish this afternoon and sprayed both domes.

Now just waiting for the Ifrogino Cape and Tunic set to arrive.

Ditto. Flosi did an awesome job on both my ss and has bro domes, but I really do prefer the ss modded one.

Haha, no more selling bro. Was making less money so I had to do what I had to do. It was for the better cause I was overdoing it at the time. Yea I ordered Iron Man MK VII, Vader and have Yoda on pre order too. Got a custom Jedi Luke waiting for Vader. You been on Bantha?

I'm on Bantha from time to time , not to much really to see at this point with Hasbro doing nothing and some of the movers and shakers not really posting often anymore.

Man, sorry to hear that... In thinking more about it I imagine you'd maybe need to remove a small amount of plastic to simulate the look of the stitching. Using a very small tool to carve it out... although I don't know if there are any that small that would also cut through plastic.
