Re: Offical Sideshow Crimson Guards!

Anyone who has the Viper knows how big he is, the Guard is an absolute beast. Genetic freaks :rock :rock :rock

I'm going to have to display him way in the back when he stands next to the commander; I was kinda disappointed when I put CC next to Viper, guess this will provide the same reaction.

Re: Offical Sideshow Crimson Guards!

I see pics of collections like Chase's and it makes me almost wish I collected GIJOE.

I don't mind the CG being bigger. For a number of years here, there was an unofficial official practice of only hiring state police officers who met height requirements, so it was normal to see a bunch of officers together and a couple state police in there towering over everyone. Comical really, but totally the norm. You 100% knew a state police officer even without the uniform. The were always huge guys.

So it makes a certain amount of sense the Cobra Commander would have the same kind of requirements for his elite guard.

Honestly, its Sideshows best product. Not even their mighty Star Wars line can compete. With Joe, Sideshow is bringing their best.

Sideshow's best product that takes too long to produce more characters

Each release,I just want them to keep coming!

It takes less time to have a baby than to wait for Sideshow to give birth from PO to arrival.

CC is a size queen? :monkey4

Got my guard today. Great figure...hope the uniform holds up a few years from now.

Re: Offical Sideshow Crimson Guards!

Got mine in today as well...love the jacket but don't like how it crinkles up when posing.

Love the details - the magnetic chest piece for on his jacket, how the bayonet fits in to the barrel of his rifle, and how the magnetic grenade fits at the top of the backpack.

Re: Offical Sideshow Crimson Guards!

Yup, I tossed a set on him. Much better than the multicolored Joe gloves.

Re: Offical Sideshow Crimson Guards!

Got my today, but didn't have time to open him.

Got mine as well. It took a back seat to the kitted out Bushmaster that I scored (shown on gun collecting). I'm still grinning ear to ear!:yess: I will probably get him out in a few days.

Re: Offical Sideshow Crimson Guards!

They may be bringing their best with the Cobra releases but some of the Joe releases aren't nearly as fun. I think SS is really hampering themselves by not trying to go after what makes these characters GI Joes. There are several companies out there that have been making great modern military figures for years. Not sure if that makes sense or not.
