to anyone who has this figure....does the original figure have any ankle articulation?
If not, then Will do you get good ankle articulation once you switched to the HT TT body?

Thanx

Yes it does. The pro actually has pretty good ankle movement. If you do switch it over to a truetype I'd recommend just heat up the feet and popping out the ankle joint. The HT ankle pegs should fit right in the whole with little fuss.

That does look great Evil. :rock :rock :rock

Heres a pic with him and Snake.

i don't see the problem with the bow. it looks to me like it is set up to be held with the figures right hand and drawn with the left. the sight and arrow guide/holder thingy seem to support this.

This would be indicative of a left handed person. That being said I guess the folks who take issue with this feel SS is right handed???

If a bow is right-handed, you would hold it with your left hand, draw with your right, and sight with your left eye.

This bow is set up for right-handed firing. Not that it really matters.

While it's not a major issue it is a technical fault. If you're right handed the arrow rest and bowsight would be located on the left side of the bow. This is because you rest your arrow on the side opposite you draw with i.e. lefties rest the arrow on the right side and righties vice versa. Obviously if you rest your arrow on either side the sight needs to be on the same side, or it's really gonna do you no good at all. It's not gonna detract from the figure, but it is technically wrong. Nothing more than a little slip up on Sideshow's part. Sure, your average guy won't care or probably even notice, but I'm sure there are some people out there that wouldn't notice if a Crimson Guard came with a rifle with an underslung scope, but someone definitely will. This is pretty much the same thing. Just because fewer people will notice doesn't mean no one should say anything about it. No one is crucifying Sideshow here. Just pointing out a slight inaccuracy.

EDIT: Or, in a nutshell, what devilof76 said.

He could be ambidextrous. Really doesn't matter, but even if he is he's shooting a right handed bow with his left hand.

it sounded like people thought that the bow is being held backwards cuz sideshow didn't make the hands right. but that is simply not true.

They did a great job, and while both right and left handed bows exist, as do right and left handed people, SS made a slight mistake by packaging either the correct hands for the incorrect bow or the correct bow for the incorrect hands. The two items in question are incompatible from a technical standpoint. Big deal? No. There? Yes. Talk about it? I don't see what it's hurting to do so.

Right. If anyone is looking for Sideshow crucifixion, the place to look is the Sandtrooper thread.
:lol no thanks. i was in there for awhile then got the hell out. i like to compare my exit from that thread to being in a combat situation where you see a live grenade rolling by your feet so you quickly jump out of the way and seek cover before it goes off.

Finally got this bastard, and though I'm still a bit disappointed in the loose joints of the Sideshow figures, he is magnificent. Thank you, Sideshow! :rock
