I haven't had time to read through all of the posts this morning (it's back to reality time

), but I agree with the posts I have read from people who were disappointed by this year's Spook, and
not just from a lack of winning perspective (although I don't ever remember such a popular "losers club" thread ever existing before).
I think the focus on Facebook was excessive, and brought too many "fair weather" collectors to the event, rather than maintaining the feel that the event has had in years past. I really enjoyed spending time here, helping and being helped by my friends, but I only checked in on the chat on an occasional basis, maybe once every couple of hours, or if there was some announced activity like DOI. In previous Spooks I spent 95% of my time in chat, and only checked the Spook thread here a few times a day.
But it is what it is. If this is the tone Sideshow wants to have for Spook, that's fine, but I don't anticipate that I will be participating nearly as much next year.
And now, It's November. Spook is done, for better or worse, and it's time to move on.
