Many of these Olympic atheletes are pretty much a-holes. How can you not be happy being the second best IN THE WORLD at something?

It was either yahoo or MSN today had a bunch of pictures of silver medalists that looked like they got last place.

It's not like they are mad at themselves for underperforming. You don't get second place at this level if you "underperform". You get last.

Basically they're all acting like a bunch of pussies because one person was better than them. Grow up.

I'd love for someone, anyone, to explain the free kick in the Canadian box that was awarded to USA (when the Canadian netminder had the ball ), which was then followed by a handball penalty call, allowing Wambach a chance from the penalty spot that she did not miss, leveling the score at 3-3 in the 80th minute.

Yeah, she hugged the girl that won and was pissed at herself. She gets a few mins to be mad at herself for blowing what she should have gotten done. Now if she was still acting that way today it would be a different story.
