Wouldn't that be bizarre if USA did pay the Norwegian Ref (years later) throw the game and USA Womens soccer actually won gold? I wonder what would happen and will the medal change hands?

In a situation like this, the medal winners would be stripped of their medals....highly unlikely they'd all get returned. No medals would change hands so Canadia would still be medal-less.
