That's awesome! Watching from here has been a blast would be even more so to see it in person. I'm actually a little sad it's over today/tonight and I look forward to 2014 but especially the summer game in 2016.

Void how much do tickets to an Olympic event cost? If you don't mind me asking.

Yeah i had a lot of friends go and see bolt.

I got offered some free football tickets but i couldn't get off work at the time plus i dont like football :(

All the events had tiered pricing - you had to apply via ballot last year, we got very lucky and got tickets to the final Athletics day (last night), in one of the cheaper tiers (£50, about $75).

I believe the cheapest for last night were about £30/$45.

But there are price points at like £100/£200/£450 and even £1000+

I thought overall pricing was a bit steep for the Olympics, and it was very hard to get tickets to a top event, but I guess that is probably the case for any Olympics anywhere.

:lol I cant believe that will be our only gold for Canada (pending today)? It's pretty sad....:monkey1

I was always cheering for you guys and i hope you win more at the Paralympic Games, Commonwealth games and Winter olympics :1-1:

I got ya. Those prices seem decent compared to events and especially big events here in the states.

Yeah, I imagine getting tickets period would be pretty freaking hard. Someday, I'd love to see an event.
