If your dropping crazy $$$ on the mech test, then this should be a no brainer.
Anyone got pics of the custom someone did of the OG MK2 where he made it all chrome? Or was it an MK3 turned into the MK2. *THATS* how Hot Toys should have made this guy.

Since this figure was announced I've Ordered > Cancelled > Ordered > Cancelled and now I've ordered again. I think from a display perspective the possibilities are endless with this figure and he'll certainly look good with the new Mark I which I've also got on order.
Seeing as you've already got the Mech Test I'd definitely get this if I were you
I see a lot of people saying this but I keep finding Mech Test's at very reasonable pricing. Maybe it's different outside of the UK? Wondering whether I should pick one up while this is still the case....

I will try to explain the silver with my poor broken english.
Ok, without light, nothing shine. The MK II silver in normal lighting, is like the stainless steel pot sitting at your kitchen. Not too dull not too shinny, something in between. like the pic below.
Parts didnt come off because is not using magnet. They hold firmly inplace.
I wonder why it took HT 10 month to roll it out, but now I understand. I did say 8-90% of the parts are new.

I suppose I'm correct to assume that the Abdomen is hard plastic and immobile?...
Stealth IM will be using this mold as well... as would other special editions I suppose...

Yeah is ABS hard plastic, the silver is very impressive, dont know how to explain......
I will take a pic with normal sunlight to show the silver, and I wish this year Ani com HT will give us a special color MK II.
