I understand how you feel. But I am getting this bad boy.
First Iron Man figure FTW!

I find it easy to justify not buying it, to me it's just an unfinished Mark III! I don't care what role it had in the movie this is the basis for the figure I actually want, an updated Mark III and I will gladly wait for that to be released.

That mkii in the screen capture looks like polished steel and not chrome plated steel.

And I think the Hot Toys figure is a pretty credible approximation of the steel finish as seen on screen.

OMG, can you take a photo to compare the MK V and the MK2 unleashed? The MK V's unpainted steel parts are a little bit on the grey plasticky side, so itll be good to compare it with the MK 2 unleashed.

It's not polished. It's brushed. Polished, brushed, and matte, or bead blasted are three different finishes. It might not be steel at all. It might be aluminum. Aluminum is whiter than steel, or stainless steel. In order of whiteness, it's magnesium, aluminum, stainless steel, steel, and titanium.

I must say the sculpt turn out amazing, they fix the eyes, fine tune the cheek, jaw ears and the skin texture look alot better. The white looks more natural. Much better the the proto and soooo Nicholson.

Is it like an actual tie that wraps around the neck under the collar, does it clip somehow, or is it stitched to the shirt or something?
