Still debating whether to get this now or later but considering the Gantry and MK 4 comes out in March and 2.0 after that, now would be a smart time to pick this fellow up.

+1 meh for me. Would've been more impressed with removable panels instead of switch-out lower legs etc. but at the end of the day it has to be chrome or gtfo.

This picture has man made light showing off the chrome effect. As we saw in OMG's pics, this figure also shines when under man made light.

This picture has man made light showing off the chrome effect. As we saw in OMG's pics, this figure also shines when under man made light.

I guess im just really being nitpicky
but it would've been nice if the chrome had higher intensity..
you can see in the movie still that the reflections are sharper than on the HT fig

With that being said, I still think this figure is great and i might just reconsider getting this..

That mkii in the screen capture looks like polished steel and not chrome plated steel.

And I think the Hot Toys figure is a pretty credible approximation of the steel finish as seen on screen.

OMG, can you take a photo to compare the MK V and the MK2 unleashed? The MK V's unpainted steel parts are a little bit on the grey plasticky side, so itll be good to compare it with the MK 2 unleashed.

There's always a reason for action (..or inaction.)

I just dont really see the shiny-ness that made me drool the first time I saw MKII on the big screen
..kind of a gut feel or personal preference i guess

You do realize you are saying a $200 toy is not as shiny as a movie prop that probably cost $50,000-$100,000? And someone was probably paid to shine that suit every 10 seconds.
