the other episode that Futurama made me sad a little watery eyed was the one about the Lucky 7 clover, the end specially

Well I hope you are right. I thought maybe you were just making that up to make me feel better. :lol

I wonder if it was because a lot of people found it hella depressing.
Yeah...you should really just watch the full episode.

Yeah, Luck of the Fryrish. That one and Jurassic Bark always make me cry but Jurassic Bark is so much more depressing. It's an amazing episode, but it's just so sad...

I'll never understand what people see in cats. :lol

Lethal Inspection is also another tear jerker that revolves around characters Hermes Conrad and Bender "Bending" Rodriguez. I am the master of useless knowledge!

Anyway, it's a really good moving episode. This show is brilliant.

P.S. Cats rule, except for albino cats. ****ing little retarded **** heads that cost you too much money, so you sick the do... I said too much!

LOL too true :lol
cat are cute, and they are pretty cool, for a little while, but I could never have a cat as a pet,
dogs are amazing, they are loyal (which cats are not as much) dogs protect you, a dog is like having your own security guard/home alarm/ best friend/ walking teddy bear/

Cats are cute, but they have no souls. They're reclusive and bite/scratch you every time you get close to them. Oh and you know you can't trust them to obey you whatsoever.

That's how I expect my scorpions to act....not a "house" pet.

I play with my dog, I pet my dog, I cuddle with my dog and I can tell when he's happy. Every time I leave I can hear him dramatically howling and I know that he misses me. There are EMOTIONS involved with owning a dog. Not really with cats.

P.s. I don't like cats.

I agree. Plus, a cat will eat an owner's dead body before it decomposes. There was an episode of Bones that touched on this. These alley cats had just been dining on a corpse and the police pulled them off and then all of the cats were sitting there looking at the live people, licking their chops with anticipation. The guy says, "Why are they looking at us like that?" :lol
A dog would guard the body of it's dead owner and lay next to him in vigil. That's how you know who your real friends are. The only reason why cats are as compliant as they are is because they are so small.
If cats were as big as Saint Bernards, there would be a whole lot of cat owners killed by their cats and eaten.

Just because a cat has dignity it doesn't make them a bad house pet :lol

It is a question of independence, not dignity. Cats hunt to survive, alone. Dogs hunt in packs, and therefore are team players. That is what makes dogs better pets, and is why human beings recognized their potential as companions. Dogs were meant as companions from the start. Cats were first domesticated by the Egyptians and were worshiped as gods and godesses. That doesn't exactly smack of friendship, or team play.
The Egyptians had too much time on their hands and decided to play a a game of trying to turn an animal into a companion that is not suited to be, as part of a challenge or as an ego trip.
It's sort of like keeping sharks or piranha as pets, except that sharks and piranha give an even bigger ego boost because of how challenging and dangerous they are to keep, while the cat gives the same type of gratification, except more diluted.

It is the pack mentality of the dog that makes it such a great companion.
Cats seem to act like they want to be served. Dogs want to serve and be helpful, and are grateful as a matter of course. Cats are generally ungrateful.

you guys know that cats sometimes have two families right?

they are very mischievous
4 of these cats had different families hahahahaha

My dog guards the house from intruders.

My cat keeps down the rat population in my shed.

I love them both.

But I respect my cat.

Lol at people that all assume cats don't respect their owners. When we had Rocky he loved affection and didn't need to be bribed with food to hang out. :wink1:

My folks moved overseas for a few years, and would come back a couple of times a year for a couple of weeks to visit. I was looking after the house. The family cat buggered off a couple of weeks after they left that first time, but the day or night before they were due back - every single time without fail, and for a period of five years - Max would wander into the house like he'd never left. He'd hang around until they left and then bugger off again until the next time.

True story. And cool.

When I was a young boy in Lincoln, Nebraska, we had a black cat named "TJ".

He would jump up on my mom's washer and drier to get out of the basement window. And when he came in the same way, he would leave muddy pawprints on her machines.

I witnessed one day when mom was washing clothes, and TJ jumped up on the washer and then into the opened window, stopping just long enough to piss in my mom's face.

Yeah, respect.

:)
