Yeah I agree i’m loving the daylight aspect like you mentioned they clearly listened to the criticism so i’ll respect that.

The designs help over Transformers but alot of the fast movement is just like Transformers hell it even sounded like Transformers at one point lol

I’m not thrilled with the mechs moving like ninjas but it still looks fun.

I like him being spun around.

GDT bailed when they had to wait 6 months for the soundstages they wanted. He gave them his script and ideas and went off to Shape of Water. Seems like that worked out for him.

I still think this looks fun.

I'm actually really looking forward to this. It's giant robots versus monsters. I really liked the idea of this franchise. The acting hasn't been that good. But it looks action packed and cathartic.

It's a lot of over acting and melodrama...but then that's a staple of the genre

That being said....I actually like Pacific Rim quite a bit. It got extra points I think because I was watching SOA at the same time.

Trailer looks amazing and looks a lot better than what they did with power rangers ( this is what power rangers should have been like)

Looks like it will be an amazing time in theaters. Visually looks like is going to be insane.
This already looks better with the day fights than the first movie.

The fact that people are comparing this to transformers is so ridiculous and asinine
