Paint Flaking on Sabretooth LSB

though i don't disagree with that, i have worked with several companies in the past that have dealt with chinese factories and one thing that most of them try to pull is to first produce a quality product for a cheap price and then once they're in the door they suddenly start to produce piece that are subpar, which usually means cheaper methods of production, or completely skipping a part of the production needed to insure a quality piece.

which in these cases is most likely the lack of proper primer or any primer at all needed for the paint to stick in some cases the companies either just outright dropped the manufacturer or basically had to hire a quality control person to oversee the whole manufacturing process everyday or else they'd just try to pull the same shat again..

I suuuuuuure do hate that country!

I got an e-mail telling me that my e-mail was forwarded to the returns department and that they would be able to help me in 5-7 days.

oh i want to do something, but if all they're going to do is offer a one time refund and you have to send back the bust or destroy it, that doesn't work for me since then i won't have a bust to display and i want the bust.

Why? If it is going to flake, it will flake no matter where it is purchased from; I would rather have the piece of mind from SS's customer service AND have the EX.

Please rest assured that we are aware of this thread and the issue, but it’s not nearly the cause for alarm that some here claim it to be. Frankly, fewer than 15 customers have reported the paint flaking issue to us (across ALL products). The issue was long ago identified and resolved, but unfortunately a very small percentage of product did ship with this flaw, as you know and see reported on occasion. We carefully and closely monitor all return reports to look for common causes and issues, and assure you that these are isolated incidents. As always, our customer service team is standing by to help those with ANY issue. Please do send our customer service team images of this or any similar issue, as they are helpful to our production and QC teams to best police our factories.

I dont buy the claim of only 15 reports of paint issue across the board on all products.

They had to have had more than 15 returns on the IM 1:1 bust.

I call BS on that blanket claim. Quality of the IM 1:1 isnt there. I cancelled my order the second I saw it at SDCC. Same w/ the sabretooth bust. eggshells w/ crappy paint.

Corners cut resulting in subpar product. They need to be consistant. Look at the quality of the Venom 1:1 and say the Hulk or Doom lsb. You get these expecting the other product to be along the same lines and you get dissapointed w/ Tijuana crap.

I've also noticed the quality of the packing foam decline over the years.

So you sayin Dusty is a liar?...or just the messenger?

Either way, "those 15" should be getting refunded or replacements and have had their return labels printed already.
