Finally broke down and ordered him, along with the war paint head.
7toys7 has him for $200 with free shiping to Greece, KG had the head (sold out now) for $32 incl. shipping.
The big difference that made me change my mind are the 2 new heads.
Long ago KP made 2-3 versions of the heads, Iminime another 1-2 and all of them didn't catch Mel's likeness,
Pangaea's prototype was mediocre at best so I didn't preorder him, but those 2 new heads have improved a lot
and they are by far the best ones I 've seen.
I can erase now one of my grails, what I really want now is Hawkeye (Nathaniel Poe) from Last of the Mohicans.

That's why all these years I shop from HK/China and never from a Europe store.

So you get both heads that is why increased price!

And if custom gets your parcel, your 7toys7 order to greece might be same or price than toysheroes anyway. Tat is also a reason why euorpe shops are more expensive, because of import fees.

Ok, about the new price my bad, I didn't notice it included the 2nd head,
but the original price (205€) was still more 36€ more expensive than shopping from 7toys7.
The 2nd head (40€) is again 13€ more expensive than from the price I bought it from kg, totalling about 50€ (about $60)!
Regarding customs I don't care, I found a way to pass them wihout paying any fees.
Also I know a few HK/China retailers have warehouses in Europe, so they deal with customs themselves.
Europe stores could have better prices, they just use the excuse ''customs'' to crank up their profit.

Sure you are not wrong, the prices are a bit too expensive in Europe shops. Often the difference is so big that you can always risk the fees from asia because even if your parcel is caught by customs you pay roughl the same price. And if it is not caught, you made a big deal (and getting your stuff earlier too)
If shops in Europe would be more reasonable expensive, I would buy more from them.

That said, I'm glad I bought this figure after much thinking. I don't even care much for the likeliness of the actor, because in this case, I just want a cool looking warrior. And i dig the pics.

Are you sure toysheroes got it right? Pangaea's FB page seems to say that the war paint head is a separate limited edition item. I would love for both heads to be in the box, but I doubt it.

I think Pangaea will deliver the figure and the second head as one "package" to resellers but in different boxes. Some sellers will sell each box seperately - I think since Toysheroes doesn't sell much single parts, they will just put both packages into one big parcel and sell it as one thing. So unless there is a misunderstanding, I would guess you receive both boxes in one package when ordering from Toysheroes.

Edit: Just reread your post and the "limited edition" thing could destroy my theory. But eh...

I think the Iminime war head was pretty good, the neutral sculpt was a bit off

I don't agree, but each one of us has his opinion.
The neutral hs was off, the warpaint was better, but both missed Mel's likeness,
at least for me.

Capturing Mel's likeness seems really hard to achieve for some elusive reason. I have tried numerous times to sculpt him as I would love to see a high quality Mad Max sculpt.

Yes, it is one of the best to date but I'd still love to see a definitive sculpt by someone like Buffy or Jay the sculptor.

Toypanic says the warpaint hs will be released Jan/2021.
Kg has already shipped my warpaint hs, as I 've been given a tracking no.
Has anyone received notification about the shipment of the figure?

EDIT: 7toys7 just sent me an email with the tracking no of the figure.
A grail figure is coming!
