So since i was kinda dissapointed with the new consoles i'm thinking of going full on pc. I bought a gaming laptop two years ago (and it's still going strong) and i really liked the interface and the fact that you can play with the best graphics, have all your programs and all that. So, instead of buying a new console this christmas (the deal breaker for me was the price and subscription for online play) i'll buy a new gaming rig. I've been searching a bit and found this one (turbo x titan) which i like. These are the specs (the highlights):

Intel Core i7 4770 Haswell
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780
SSD 120GB
16 GB DDR3
1 Terrabyte

Would you consider this a powerfull gaming rig? Are turbo-x pcs good? Would you recomend something else?

That's damn good gaming rig.
And it's the latest video card out there.
You will be on par, and most likely even more powerful then the new consoles, right out of the gate.

Are you kidding? Much older rigs will be on par with the next gen consoles.

I'll be jumping to a 770, or 780 maybe in the fall, or the early new year.
Once I get a PS4 in the house and settle in with that for my console side of gaming, I will then look to the PC upgrades.

PC for most of my gaming and certain genres and console, for when I want to "console" game and certain genres like driving, fighting, sports etc. And certain exclusives.

PC for everything else - shooters, mmo, rpg, strategy, action etc.
Any cross platform games, will ALWAYS be played on the PC.

Thanks for the feedback! Is there anything you'd change or buy seperately? What kind of monitor, headphones, controller and mouse would you suggest?

I'm actually looking into a PC anyone know of any (Reasonable) priced i7 or AMD equivalent pc's? want something in the 900 or less price range. I can always upgrade graphics card

either or, I know it's cheaper to build but I'm afraid of my skills wouldn't want to short mobo before even using it lol. depends, links?

sadly I bought a MacBook Pro for 900 a couple years ago didn't think about CA Tax and Warranty the *^%# cost 1800 all said and done :( Worst purchase I've ever made. The thing dies after an hour or overheats and turns off when I try to play diablo 3 lol

Got tired of my high end HP laptop that should be fine with Diablo 3 but it tend to over heat. Scared the heck out of me as I fear the video card gonna melt like the last one. So I decided to build the best PC I can get. Not just for gaming but also work related.

Built my high end desktop computer a month ago:

Corsair 500R Mid-Tower Case
Cooler Master Seidon 240m Liquid CPU Cooler
Asus Sabertooth 990FX/Gen3 R2.0 Motherboard
Gigabyte HD7970 3Gig GDDR5 Video Card
AMD FX8350 8-Core 4.0ghz 8m Processor
GSkill F3-1866 32Gig Memory
Samsung SSD 512 Gigs Hard Drive
Corsair HX750 750W Power Supply
LG Blue-Ray Burner
Samsung 32" HD TV (use as monitor)
Window 8 64-bit (getting used to it)

Guys, Idk if this has been asked before, but my brother has been telling me to buy CS GO, and I kinda want to get back on the CS horse, but is GO better? It's been ages since I played CS, obviously 1.6, which one is better? GO? 1.6? Source?

So I can get it from steam, thanks in advance guise. :peace:

does everyone build their own pc's? I can't even find any companies that sell premade gaming pc's other than #%^* Alienware.
